the graphics look just as good as mw2, have you played the game? probably not

the killstreaks are nice and not overpowered, the RC car ive never used but theyre fun to avoid and shoot. also hardened perk is like fmj so i dont know what youre trying to say there

the maps arent all small and sniping is just more realistic (besides two hit kills, meh). snipers dont fly around battlefields owning everyone and leading the battle and the bolt action rifle is a sick sniper rifle

all the guns arent weak, and if you are having trouble killing more than one person with one clip you just suck bro!

the famas and galil arent even the best guns IMO. the guns just arent all as lethal as they are in mw2, there are plenty of good guns, including the m14 which is sick cause the m14 kicks dicks

sound effects? okay ill concede theyre not CRAZY but i dont play COD for that, if i want big explosions and dope sounds i pop in battlefield BC2

the tomahawk literally = throwing knife from mw2 and is challenging and fun, and crossbow is cool and not as easy as any gun so i dont see what your gripe is

zombies are dope, your opinion is wrong

I'm not a "fan boy" of any game, I just call it as I see it.
I played MW2, and while there were many aspects of it that pissed me off at least the graphics were up to par. I have played black ops, my brother bought it and I've played it all weekend.
Dodging RC cars is ridiculous, and they aren't fun to shoot at. I'm trying to shoot at other people, not toys.
I just want a good old shooter game without all the added bullshit. COD4 was sick for that.
 
I agree with this. Every shooter game now has so many complex variables to it. Your constantly worried about someones little toy car or their security camera watching the corner they camp the whole game. I wish it would kind of go back to the fun, gun vs. gun that was COD4 and Halo 2.
I dont hate black ops i just think they are putting to many things into the game. Overall I like the game I just wish the sniping was better and they had good snipers like the m40a3.
 
shitty guns + shittier maps + custom kill streaks = broken game for me. haven't played black ops, not really planning to, but after swearing by mw2 for a year then switching back to 4, the former's faults are just laughable.
 
well agree to disagree obviously, but i think you should give it another chance. im having a lot of fun fucking people's day up with the m14

also, i thought that was a reason you'd like black ops ("i just want a good old shooter without allthe added bullshit") cause it isnt as killstreak intensive as mw2 was, so it's way more focused on the shooting aspect
 
hate to break it to you but the people on the black ops forums actually found out black ops doesn't play in HD on xbox or PS3 because the game was rushed, it is actually a way lower resolution. That being said I mash Black Ops err day.

(some?) sniper rifles have an attachment that gives you variable zoom. so you can adjust how zoomed in your sniper scope is
 
false man. it was at least a year til i reached 10th on cod 4 cause i stayed at no prestige and got all the golden guns then later on decided to get to 10. mw2 was all my bro boosting. this game was actually really easy to reach lvl 50.
 
i remember you were at level 70 and then you decided to prestige and bam, 10 before i knew it. your brother played a shit ton of mw2
 
I personally like the enfield a lot, i think its a suck gun. To everyone complaining about the RC-XD, it sure is a bitch but the flak jacket perk is so useful in these situations.
 
sniping has basically been eliminated from the game though since all the maps have tons of obstacles and it takes 2 shots to kill someone

some of the best snipes are when a guy's running and you jump into scope and kill him. the only way to get a kill now is by a headshot or if you shoot someone and they don't move at all. generally when someone gets shot they run away from that area and since there's so much cover in all the maps he gets to safety quickly
 
Well thats badass cause I hate getting fucking sniped. I saw some of the maps on G4, It looks like the jungle map is pretty sick.
 
yeah i just unlocked the bolt action, i'll give it a shot and see if it's impossible. i think it's sort of good that snipers dont own the battlefield anymore but i do wish they didnt ALL suck. we'll see
 
does anyone else find that it's sometimes hard to tell how hurt you are? the screen flashes red but then goes back to white quickly while you're still hurt so you jump out of cover and get killed by one shot. in mw2 and cod4 the screen got progressively redder and then when that disappeared you were good to go, but now it doesn't stay red
 
I didn't notice this as much as I did in the campaign on veteran. Shit's so frustrating. You get shot 4 times, fully red. Wait until screen is clear, poke back out, get shot twice, dead. I will throw my PS3 soon if this keeps occurring. It's so fucking hard.

the intervention was way overpowered in mw2 but there was something so fun about it
 
Thats why I think people, need to wait till they hit level 50 before saying that the guns suck. The m4a1 and the ak47 rape face, the famas bows down to them.
 
oh god more m4's?

the m4 was the worst part about cod4, all the noobs used it and just held down the trigger. but ak's are sweet. the ak47 with a silencer was one of the best weapons in both cod4 and mw2
 
they were pretty nooby in cod4 because there weren't really any other long range full auto assault rifles with low recoil but mw2 that's what every AR was so it didnt stand out as much
 
right yeah, that's what i thought about the mw2 one, they were just a slightly worse version of most of the other ARs. i didnt play all that much cod4 but wasnt the g36 pretty much the same?
 
Not much. Just like how the Holo and Red Dot were similar in MW2.
As far as sniping. It is different, but still very fun. The L96A1 is tons of fun. You need to do more drag scopes to get accurate shots, but you will still get 1 shot kills most of the time unless you hit limbs. Me and my friends play quickscoping only lobbies all the time. It is harder to be as consistent, which makes it fun and challenging.
 
quickscoping with the intervention thermal and sleight of hand wasn't even fair. i'm horrible at quickscoping and i could kill off it 90% of the time. i'm glad they got rid of faster ADS
 
I find that all the assault rifles in this game are pretty weak when it comes to far shots, If you have the scope and you are far away you do have the advantage. I also like the fact that the smg are pretty bunk when it comes to shooting people at a distance unlike the ump45 in mw2. If you guys want to have ultra fun playing try barebones classic. You still get perks and three set kill streaks (uav, napalm, and cpu controlled chopper gunner) with no attachments.

wish i could use it in exchange for a promise that i won't (and rarely can even while trying) quickscope.. guess it's a good change but i never got pissed at being quickscoped, it's the kind of thing that gets done to me and i go "niiice"

also the maps are small etc in black cops so i dont really see a need to nerf the snipers even more with this no fast ADS stuff. oh well
