Black Ops Favorite Weapon/Class

Oh but there is on thing that is a little crazy. Once you get close enough to someone with the L96A1 that the cross hairs turn red (about 50-70ft ish), you can just noscope and it will hit the person every time, unless they move out of the way making the sights white again.

Yeah we learned about it in one of our private matches. maybe not 100% but 95% of the time it will hit. I don't remember the distance the red starts to appear, it probably isn't that far out. It still didn't help no scoping all that much though, unless the enemy is standing still and close.

nuketown is the greatest map ever. it's such a shit show especially with the ridiculous spawns in black ops. you run to a flag, kill everyone, and then some dude spawns behind you and shoots you in the back of the head

yeah but getting there is so hard because even if you're camping in a corner someone will spawn behind you. it's like the enemy team has tactical insertions in your ass crack

Go in the house, plant a claymore, kill anybody who goes in front of the house. Once claymore explodes and you get a kill, just lay down and watch the two entrances and kill anybody who tries to come in. I played the level seven times in a row and went like +15 each time.

I just played Xbox today, decided PS3 has a better controller too. PS3 is better, except for the fact that it doesn't have Halo and GoW.

If the Xbox could play Bluerays the discussion would be over, but PS3 is awesome because it can do other stuff like that, and online gaming is free. And the fact that you can get an Xbox shaped controller for PS3 makes it a close call. I will still keep my Xbox though, but overall I think they are still close.

i think the reason why your the first person to say that is because everyone else is still a n00b and doesnt have all the guns yet.

the G11 makes the m16 seem like a piece of shit, and is an AWESOME gun.

just wait till everyone gets it, kids are gonna jump all over it

I just hate how heavy Xbox controllers are. When I had an Xbox I had to take the vibration packs out, and it felt so much better after. But a standard Xbox controller is worse in my opinion.

since we're talking controllers, i must say i miss the days of corded ones that i could whip around in frustration, now i just look like a moron thrashing my controller through the air

G11, iron site, warsaw camo, semtex, concussion grenades, c4, scavenger, sleight of hand, and marathon

this gun is amazing..it's for sure worth buying all the other assault to unlock it...the commando is great too, L96 for sniping

oh to answer your OP question you have to knife the barrels and they stop coming. i got stuck there forever and nobody tells you to do it, i just luckily ran by one once and it asked me to press x. you stick your knife in it and it rolls down the hill and blows up. once you've done it to both of them the VC stop coming and you go down the hill to the right and then back up the other side and get in a jeep and blow up tanks with valkyrie rockets

who makes this bad boy?
i'm starting to get frustrated with the ps3 controller because my thumbs keep slipping of those convex analogs and the triggers suck ass.

Primary: AUG/AK47 - green circle with crosshairs for the red dot sight/Tiger camoSecondary: Switch off between the Python and the Crossbow
Perk 1: Hardline ProPerk 2: Sleight of Hand ProPerk 3: Marathon
Semtex/Nova Gas/C4
Face Paint: Animal
That's basically all I use and it does WORK. You cannot lose a free for all game if you have this class

crazy, because I hate how light PS3 controllers are even the ones with the vibrator in it.

If I could I'd get a 360 controller that was the size of the original one, fit my hands sooo well.

i can't stand playstation controllers for even a minute, they really fucked up in the ergonomics department.
(please excuse this mistake)

Well I beat it already but I didn't knife anything. All I did was stay on the far left and kill like 20 VC in a row, then run down into the trenches and run all the way to the other side and just lay down there. Then like 5 seconds later when I got my health back I got up and poked my head out and my team was just standing in the middle at the bottom of the hill, took me like 20 tries.

But now I'm stuck on the level where you're like on a roof, and you just jumped down from a broken apartment wall thing, and there's like people who shoot you all over the place and you have to go down some stairs like two buildings away. I got down the stairs but then some of the bad people came up behind me and killed me. It's so fucking hard.

the one after you interrogate the dude? make sure you pick up the sniper in the weapons cache and keep it the whole level until the end. take it slow, there're lots of guys in windows and on rooftops. it's like favela from mw2

Yeah that one. I did pick up the thermal sniper. I probably do rush too much though, but that's because I' got so damn frustrated. Haven't tried it in a couple days though, been playing too much basketball. Might try to beat it today though if I get time. I'm so happy that we can now start from our latest checkpoint, it was ridiculous when you had to redo a whole level in MW2, even though that campaign took like 5 total hours on veteran.

lol wut? mw2 you started from checkpoints, you only restarted a level in spec ops

don't use the thermal dragunov. when you make the big jump over into the next building and he pushes the fridge out of the way to reveal the weapons cache take the bolt action sniper and the g11. you're inside when you get it but you'll realize you need a sniper. kill the guys in the hall with the g11 and then you'll get to the end of the hall where there're lots of glass windows and he tells you to go outside on to the rooftops. run out to trigger the guys and then run back by the glass windows and take everyone out with your sniper, then run outside, stay left, and run around the back side, pick the guys off, and go down the stairs. at the bottom of the stairs a guy will come down the fire escape and 2 snipers will appear on the far roof. kill the fire escape guy and the close guy with the g11 and then very quickly snipe the 2 guys on the roof otherwise they'll fuck you up immediately

it sucks though because if you get sniped by those guys at the end you start alllllll the way back in the building

I don't remember spawning from checkpoints at all, which is why I always insisted on beating the level before getting off. Maybe in CoD: MW you didn't spawn from cehckpoints, but whatever.

Well fuck, I have the Spectre and Dragunov thermal. I'm not a fan of the Spectre and I haven't used the Dragunov yet, but I do know it's weak. I'm stuck where you spawn on the room and have to get to the stairs, so maybe I can go back and get the G11 and bolt action.

Did you beat the game already on veteran?

i don't know exactly where you are, but i think it's where i'm describing

i went back and got the bolt action sniper until i hit a new checkpoint with them. im slowly playing through campaign, i'm like 2 levels past that one. you go to the arctic with reznov after that one and then you're in nam again doing ninja shit

Yeah, I'm exactly where you're describing. I'm going to go try to beat that level, then I'll come back. Are you playing on veteran though?

yeah. i died like 100 times on the vietnam level you're describing in the OP because i didn't know what to do until i figured out you need to knife the barrels but other than that i haven't had too much trouble. the arctic level is fun because the germans are so dumb you just flank the fuck out of them. i don't think i died once that whole level

Yeah, that level was ridiculous. I had to go to a walkthrough to beat it, and I've never had to do that in my life. Just beat the roof level though first try, basically did exactly what you said but I couldn't find the G11. I did get the bolt-action sniper though, it helped a bunch. I started the arctic level and like skipped 100m of running just by turning right and running down a hill after knifing someone, but then I had to get off after the first checkpoint. The beginning did seem pretty easy though. How many levels are there in the game?
