Binding striping

what is the best thing to do if the front screw on your binding striped the thread on the ski and is loosely hanging.for now i just put some blue thread locker on.but what is a long term fix?

oh, and for some actual help, take em to your local shop and get the holes helicoiled. itll be a much more reliable fix than loc-tite. shops sometimes charge a lot to do this though, because it is time comsuming, so beware and try to bring it somewhere that you know someone.

essentially how it works is a coil is epoxied into the binding holes and acts as a thread for the binding screws to screw into. this allows the mount to work like a snowboard mount for the most part, and for the most part, will help prevent binding blowouts.
doing it yourself would require increasing the size of the mount holes, getting a hold of the right radius/thread count coil, and properly gluing it into the thread. id bring it to a shop, its a good amount of work that requires some precision to be effective.
