What'd you guys think. I thought it was very exaggerated and had some false accusations. Also, why Bill Clinton, Obama and Clinton truly do not like each other. He speech was supposed to be focused on National Defense and only three sentences were referred to his topic out of 33 paragraphs. Along that note who do you guys think McCain should pick for VP. I think Romney because he would add that true conservative concept that McCain is missing.

he is quite the orator.....

the thing i loved is where he blamed GW for some of the problems he did not address in his admin.

wow, just hearing Joe Biden speak makes me want to vote for Barack...

lets hope McCain's VP is this good... Romney FTW?!

^ it was a powerful speach, but they act like Obama has done so much, but the truth is, he really hasn't done anything compared to McCain. And whats with that Policy BS.. If Biden was against McCains policy then why did he say he run for office as VP with McCain.

best point he made. Clinton admin ended with the nation in a surplus now, bush admin has us in largest deficit ever and we all know the republicans don't know how to fix that.

Obama hasnt done an insane amount of work as a senator, perhaps.. (seeing as he hasnt been in there all that long) but he certainly has done plenty enough in the past to prove that he has what it takes to lead. At the same time, People didnt think Clinton had the experience to handle america... and he ended his 8 years with a 65% approval rating.. even after all the monica lewinski things. The guy was a good president, and lead this country pretty well...

Also, Biden never said he would run for office as McCains VP... cite your source if you want to prove me right on that one.

considering democrats are all about creating MORE government. where i come from that means MORE spending. basically the war has fucked us with the budget, i wouldnt really blame that one the republicans. bush, yeah sure blame it on him haha

republicans used to stand for less government but they no longer do at all. look at clintons spending. very low. bush has spent more than any president ever

People need to realize spending isnt always a bad thing..

much of That spending goes towards schools, making it cheaper for us to pay our way through college..

or goes towards healthcare programs for the impoverished, or people who dont make that much at all..

Or goes towards lower property taxes, so we can actually afford to live where we do..

and the list goes on.

I dont know about you, but I'd much rather have that 10 billion dollars per day go towards programs that are keeping kids off the streets, and away from gang violence... keeping myself, my family, and my friends safer.

I'd much rather that money go to our schools, so i dont have to pay 30 dollars a fucking unit at a COMMUNITY COLLEGE (10 years ago, community college was free, and had many more classes and programs to offer), or have to take out student loans, tallying in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to pay for my degree, leading to huge debt that I have to pay over the next who knows how many years (FYI, Obama just paid off his student loans from Harvard recently).

I'd much rather that money go towards healthcare services, and lower healthcare insurance costs, so the next time I have a friend break her back, or blow his ACL, they dont have to refuse healthcare, because they dont have insurance, and cant afford to go clear to canada (which would be a cheaper option in some cases), in order to recieve said healthcare.

I dont like taxes any more than the next guy... but taxes are what the government needs in order to avoid anarchy, and keep people adherant to civilization.

so if higher taxes are what it takes keeping kids off the streets, and away from gangs, and making healthcare affordable for them, and allowing them to go to school, and STAY off the streets is what it takes to keep me, my family, and my friends safe?

I'm all for it, homie.

He stood by that statement at the time, because he was RUNNING AGAINST HIM AT THE TIME. of COURSE you're going to try to put down the guy you're running against. What was he supposed to say? "no, i think i'm just standing here like an idiot, with the other 7 guys not named Barack Obama, because we all know hes better... bladdy blah"???

And for what he said when talking about mccain.

KEY WORD: AGAINST.

He was talking about HIMSELF, being a president, or vice president...

you people, and your believing of political ads... fucking hell... dont you know that that shit is just a bunch of crap taken out of context? for christ sakes, people..

Ya, thanks to the economy boom from the internet and having absolutely nothing go on in 8 years, except some oral sex and infidelity. He is a great speaker, but it doesn't hold water.

Honestly, Bush is not the best president, I think we can all agree. However, he had probably the worst time to be president since Abe Lincoln. He was President less than a year when he got the biggest kick in the balls of all time. That sucks, but it showed his leadership ability pretty clearly. What happens if Obama is president and we are attacked in a more serious manner? What is he going to do? That is my biggest concern with him, I don't want another president who doesn't know how to lead.

^ agreed...Clinton really had nothing going on.. He could of gotten us out of this mess of a war and attack on 9/11 if he killed BinLaden when he had the chance too.

i was just going to say the same thing.

the reason Clinton comes off as being such a good president is because he didn't do shit, and he should have. the Sudan offered up Bin Laden to us and Clinton turned it down, less then a decade later we got attacked on 9/11.

so if you want to blame the war on Bush it should fall equally on Clinton. If he had taken Bin Laden out of power it may not have eliminated the terrorist threat completely, but it would have been a huge hit for them to overcome.

Al Quadea was gaining its power when Clinton was in office. It was because Kuwait asked the U.S. for aid during Desert Storm instead of Bin Laden, thats what pissed Bin Laden off. He thought since he and Afganistan defeated Russia that they should have been called upon to help Kuwait.

the guy made a million from his book sales in 2006 and like 4 the next year, he needs to learn how to manage his money if he just paid off his loans
