Just moved back for the year. Grew up skiing the area. Like [tag=254957]@Thegenericskier[/tag] said - app and beech are fun. I’m getting beech pass because it’s bigger and I can get free days at my old local resort in Tahoe with a beech pass (in case I visit).
Ah but you said southeast. Then snowshoe I would say is most fun all around resort. But App and beech still have great parks.

Like other people said, App and Beech have nice parks and Cataloochee is fun to go to when they open before the other places. Not sure about Sugar Mountain though... never been there.
