Best skiing food

The best breakfast before skiing is the Eggnormus Sandwich meal from BK. no need for pocket snack or lunch, when you can woof this down for breakfast and be full all day long.

breakfast- frosted flake cereal with O.J.

pocket snack-livesavers

lunch-cheeseburger

dinner-double cheeseburger

I just got done skiing, I'm now enjoying a jug of apple juice and some doritoes cool ranch of coarse

Oh shit, I'm moving to Canada for 6 months in like 2 weeks and I've never heard of poutine, SHIT.

Are they gonna like ask me what it is at the border crossing during a test? You gotta help me mang.

i love the bacon, egg, 3 cheese, and ham sandwiches they have for breakfast at stewarts. like $3 with a ton of shit on it, fills you up soooo good. along with a redbull...yes breakfast

lunch would be a coldcut sandwich like most others said. i usually take lunch food cause shits so expensive, but if not anything i can find or go to 711 or somthin. redbull afterwards

snacks could be anythin really. rice krispie treats were mentioned and they are very good. any kind of chips or cookies are good too

dinner, its just whatever

^^Too much redbull can fuck with your system bigtime, just letting you know. I mean one a day wont do bad, but multiple cans a day can fuck with you.

For me, it's just a standard 3 egg, steak and hasbrown breakfast that gets me going, and if I'm really trying to throw down I'll grab a redbull or rockstar or monster.

Lunch, is whatever they got at the midmountain lodge.

You don't really ski after eating dinner. Unless you are going for a night urban session so therefore, any burger or pizza will do the trick. I don't hit urbans though so it doesn't really matter for me.

for breakfast definatly a cresont sandwitch from the sports dome

and for lunch pizza a gyro chicken quesadilla or chicken fingers

chicken tenders

and then i wrap the last one in the paper stuff and eat it on the lift to save time : ]

mmmmmmm Chili, good for cold weather, bad for gondola rides. We had a dude make a huge pot and eat like half himself last trip, everyone was racing just to get ahead of him on the slopes it was soooo bad.

haha, i saw rory bushfield at camp this summer and he busted out a fatty bag of mcdonalds. it was pretty funny.

breakfast.... mtn dew in the car on the way to hill (the 64oz ones from kwik trip) and what ever else i pick up.

lunch make a PB and J at the hill, drink for mtn dew, eat chips and other stuff..

my rice crispy treats always get frozen.... pisses me off.

So i'll have to go with Hot Sticks fresh from the deer!

a good omelet for breakfast. A pocket food is the nature valley bars they hand out at the resort. I don't usually eat lunch, the food up there is so expensive

for breakfast...whatever i can find to eat before my ride arrives.

for lunch...usually cheez its and water or sprite

dinner...taco bell on the way home

breakfast stop at sheetz: glazed donut and creme filled chocolate covered donut (krispy kreme of course)

lunch: sometimes get a subway in the morning, or pizza or something at the lodge

dinner: whatever is at my crib

redbull or wired right when i wake up

mcdonalds mcgriddles/bacon bisquit (sp?WTF?) like a little before i get to the mountain

then pizza and redbull is good at like 3

then taco del mar on the way home is sooooooo good

Night for sessions:

24oz cup of coffee on the drive to In-And-Out

1 order of fries (animal style)

2 cups of water for re hydration

1 Monster on the drive to the mountain

1 mid session snack of fries and mayonnaise...grosses everyone (Im officially the only black person to love mayonnaise)

Anyone who says it's anything OTHER than Poutine has not the slightest clue what they're talking about. Poutine is to skiing lunch as goggles are to skiing: attached by its very nature. This isn't a debate.

it all depends on the conditions.

Normal day:

breakfast:

lots of cider with a big omlet stuffed with meat and other stuff

Lunch:

large sandwich

dinner:

pizza and beer

EPIC powder day:

breakfast:

sausage, egg, and cheese bagle on the way to the mountain

lunch:

cold baked potato with salsa and cheese on the lift so not to waste any time

dinner:

an entire pizza and more beer

yea but some of us dont have poutine at our mountains. But, Im a big fan of trail mix, like hte 4 pound bags you buy at cosco and just bringing some with you on the lifts. Keeps me going all day. For lunch i always make my own sandwich with hummus and tons of meat so i dont have to waste too much money. But I do like to buy a cookie or brownie or something at the lodge. For breakfast, oatmeal and some eggs. Eggs are really key in the morning

Word. California burrito or the chimi at molca salsa is a perfect way to top off after skiing.

Oatmeal is also perfect for breakfast. Keeps you full til about 3 if you eat it with toast and juice.
