Now that 2010 has officially ended, what is the best movie of 2010?

Comedy - Grown Ups, Jackass 3D, Due Date

Sci-fi - Inception, Harry Potter Deathly Hallows pt. 1

Animation - Toy Story 3

Action - Inception

Drama - The Social Network
 
Inception definitely, but Toy Story 3 kicked ass and had the nostalgia factor with it too. Damn good year.

Also, if anyone nominates fucking Avatar for anything other than Special Effects I may just have to hunt them down and shoot them.
 
shutter island was pretty good. i think that came out earlier in 2010. ive also heard good things about 127 hours
 
harry potter was awesome
inception made me want to push leo into oncoming traffic
the A team was pathetic
hot tub time machine was awesome (because it had skiing in it and also because it was mindlessly shit)
scott pilgrim vs the world - i fell asleep
the way i see it was good without being amazing
cant think of any others right now but im sure i will
 
true gritblack swaninception were all really good movies.
and not sure if this is 2010 or not, but The Road was amazing, id say its one of the top 3 movies of the decade easy, the feel you get from it is unlike any other movie ive seen.
 
best animation imo. incredible characted development, really funny, and good animation.

but in all seriousness, for me the top 5 are Inception, Toy Story 3, How To Train Your Dragon, Tron, Black Swan. i watch a lot of movies and i know critics love to hate on movies like the ones i picked, but all of these were great cinematic experiences if you just loosen up. none of them are going to win Best Picture, but then again the movie that did last year had no conflict, climax, or ending, so i could honestly not give a fuck what those people think anymore.
 
double post, but some of you really need to stop picking movies that came out in 2009. seriously, shut the fuck up.
 
I was wondering if I was going to have to mention this. Only issue with the movie is that Ben Affleck can't fucking act.
 
I thought this was a great film. Having to think deeper than what the actual movie showed to find the deeper meaning. I thought it was more of a film for like a film class though, and not so much a movie for family or friends.
 
Scott Pilgrim, Inception, Rare Exports, no doubt.

Dragon Training was great, but they should fire whoever cast Jay Baruchel as Hiccup.
