sorry, but that is one of most untrue statements in this thread. i have
skied many mountains in new england, but have skied sugarloaf and
sunday river the most. i cannot stand sunday river. the lines are long,
the runs are short, they set rails up crooked, they have short
landings, they took down the one good jump with a long landing so they
could squeeze two jumps in (quantity over quality), it has a lot of
gapers, and they dont get as much snow as sugarloaf. sugarloaf has long
runs , sets up quality jumps and rails (quality over quantity), has the
only lift acessable snowfields on the east coast, has shorter lines,
more core skiers and boarders, and a better night life. and about the
terrain, sugarloaf has a huge veriety with white nitro (steepest trail
in new england), the snowfields, tote road , and  the bunny slopes
below the base.
