bansky is so cool. he had 2 in boston but then the fuckin city decided that they werent important and painted over them. really depressing to go to the spot it used to be in and see a faint highlight of the design

Ive never seen any banksy's in person, but I have seen a couple of Fairey's pieces

This one was about 20 miles away from my house (its gone now, but it was huge)

For those who havent watched Exit Through the Giftshop yet watch it. It is amazing. I am pretty sure it is on Netflix still
 
yeah it is. I forget what it's called but he also has one on Netflix that's 45 minutes about different hilarious protests, street art and people just denying authority in a funny way
 
not sure if this is a legit Banksy or not, but i think it's funny nonetheless. i had heard rumors that he was gonna do stuff targeting fashion week

seriously he paints controversy and last time i check skiing wasn't really controversial
 
these two and i saw one that i have no idea if it was banksy but it made me thinhk. it said "not all street artists are banksy - banksy" i allways wonder if banksy is more than one person or he died and lots of people are just making fake banksys and all that stuff.597641.jpeg597640.jpeg
 
anything by shepard fairey would look 100x better on skis. not saying banksy has bad designs, but the stuff fairey does is so much better from a design standpoint
 
Omg he paints on stuff and my mom won't let me paint on stuff he's so rad!

But seriously has some good stuff. I just think some of the street art is pointless. Some people that just scribble on shit just to vandalize. IMO that shit is childish. But I def appreciate the legitimate art even on such an illegitimate canvas.
 
idk if this is true for banksy but shepard fairy makes lots of stencils so then he just rolls up and sprays a couple stencils then hes out
 
Depends on if you are being paid/ have permission to do it.

Also not much of a fan of Banksy, his work can be somewhat enjoyable but it just feels the same old same old a lot of the time.
