Ive pretty much mastered backflips on a tramp, and i want to try it on skis. How much different is it? What do you have to do?

if you are comfortable you just have to giv'er. look back and remember to watch your landng and bring your feet around

find a nice pump up song, listen to it while on the in run. jump and lean, look back (must lean head back), spot, and of course stomp. the weight of your skis carries you, and its easy to spot your landing.

The most important thing to remember is the Pop. If you get the Pop and commit you'll be fine.

It's virtually the exact same as doing it on a trampoline, except you will not land exactly flat again. What you need to do is hit the jump once or twice first, and then just go for it.

Huck your first one for sure to make sure you get all the way around. Don't have a huge jump or else you could fuck yourself over by landing on your head if you misjudge it.

Just throw backwards and if you make it all the way around then for your second one try to make it smoother and better until you have a sick looking flip.

They're pretty easy if you just remember the word COMMIT. Make sure that you pop off the top of the kicker, don't get too anxious and throw it too early. What helped me was that my friend got a heap of people on the jump and so I basically couldn't chicken out, you could try that. Other than that yeah just look around and spot your landing.

like poeple have been saying they are an easy trick to do, but they are also an easy trick to do wrong. I would keep working with them on the tramp

IT truly is easier than it sounds...Most ppl get it on their 1st or second attempt it isnt clean or anything pretty but thats where practice comes in~

yup - hit my feet my first time, and stuck it the second. it was way easier than i thought it was gonna be, it was a small jump we made just for backies though.
