Australia vs New Zealand

Snow quality is prob better in NZ but i go to have a good time with mates, which is why i like Aus

your question is like asking..."what binding should I buy?"
Invalid, and should be removed... you need to state what you want...
Quality? yeah, good Quality snow down these parts... real slippery....

Not being a kiwi I found the Speights questions kinda tough so that may have been why I liked Tui haha

I love the size of kiwi beers man not to big not to small socially chuggable and you can fit about 4 crates in a beer fridge. Whats not to like?

Agree, Qtown nightlife dominates L2A, though I do love L'Avalanche.

I haven't been to Aus, but a bunch of my friends work there, and it sounds mediocre. Living in Queenstown is so much fun, sure the skiing isn't up there with the northern Hemi, but on it's day it can be pretty damn good!

I am biassed to Australia but in terms of quality mountains NZ definitely wins. If your looking for park. Then Snow Park NZ also wins that one. But the snow quality in NZ and Australia is all about luck. Can be terrible or

Put it this way:
Tens of thousands of Australians come over to ski in New Zealand every year. Australians represent over 50% of the skiers/boarders on the Southern fields.
How many New Zealanders go over to ski in Aussie?I haven't met a single one in my lifetime.

I wonder where the better skiing is...

buddy, its cheaper for an aussie to fly from sydney into queenstown, then to drive 6 hours and pay ridiculous prices. (Full stop)
thats the major reason.

well obviously if you had a choice you'd go New Zealand but it's only slightly better. If you live in Aus you still get good skiing
