Does Armada still create as much hype as when it started?? I see a lot less at my resort, they have very few online marketing and their team is tiny and only the ams are getting noticed.

What do you guys think about Ar?
 
maybe they dont make a $300 dollar ski like LINE but their gear is pretty on par with everyone else out there. rossignol, salomon, k2.

Armada still gets alot of hype, The JJ is one of, it not the most popular pow skis' on the market.
 
Some of their gear is way ahead of the rest which is why they cost more. Like the JJ was the first highly popular 5 dimensional ski with rocker and camber. So if ppl wanted it they would still pay for it. But they defs make real good shit.
 
Def not as much hype as 4 years ago when they had tj, tanner, jp, julien, anthony, jacob and on and on. Still just as good a company tho. The ar6 is a superior park ski and the jj is a superior bc ski. Couldnt go wrong with either. I sell a lot of armadas at my shop and ppl coudlnt be happier. I get kids coming back to me with suspects and k2's all day bitchinga bout shit and all i ever hear about the ar6 and other armadas is good things. Im def a fan of the JJ myself. LOVE that ski compared to most other rockerd/rev cambered powder skis out there.
 
I think they still are a very noticeable company, pretty much 1/3 of the skiers at my mountain ride Armada, 1/3 rides Line, and the other 1/3 rides other skis. They have some of the best skis out there right now and are a very legit company. As for their riders...do you really think of Phil Casabon (who is in the slopestyle finals at X right now) and Mike Hornbeck as AMs? I mean even their National team is ill with Ian Provo, Chris Turpin, Sean Logan, Taylor Seaton (who was supposed to compete in Pipe tonight, but had to pull out due to injury), Zach Davison, and Riley Leboe. They structure their team very differently, but it really doesn't matter what "team" their on cause they're all killing it. I think they are still one of the best companies out their right now.
 
I've noticed a decline in their promotions, but overall I'd say most people who ski on Armadas are satisfied and will shop Armada in the future. Now if they would just announce me as the winner of their December contest, or anyone for that matter...
 
i was thinking the same thing earlier today!i feel their hype has died out over time too.. but idk
 
about 80% of park skiers at my mountain ride pipe cleaners. a few have ar6s, and a few have t-halls.

at my mountain last year `1 or 2 people had armadas, now everywhere you look somone has them, including myself, and one of the skate/snow shops in town started selling armada clothing and now tons of kids at school have it. and skateboard in it and snowboard in the outerwear..
 
said it before ... i will say it again. I think their product is crap. It looks nice, but it doesnt hold up like other brands for the price. just my opinion.
