ARG vs Pontoon vs Hellbent vs Bent Chetler

depends on your needs, for straight up pow though, nothing else but slayin pow from dawn till dusk, i would deffinatly say the pontoon in first, with the ARG in second fo ultimate straight pow slayage.

These are all very different skis and their are much better skis for straight pow lines...if thats what you want.

like the pontoon for huge lines, the ARG for trees and other similar situtations (hence the sidecut), and the hellbent and bent chetler for BC jibbing. they cant even be compaired. except the Chetler and the Hellbent.

well ARG is the easiest in trees and tight places, pontoons float the best and love em for bowls etc, hellbent is great for open bowls and drops but sacrifices some float as it is designed more for going switch (sitill floats like a boat), and the bent chetler is the most versatile and is like a tamed down version of the ARG

how are we supposed to know what ski to recommend until you tell us what you like to ski, and where, how tall and what you weigh, if you like stiff or soft skis, and what you have skied in the past and liked or didnt like. every one of those skis you listed are incredibly different and not for everyone so it is impossible to say which one you will like. like for me i love stiff skis, so i would never consider hellbents or pontoons even though everyone else on here seems to love them, thats why i got chopsticks.

For big time pow days it is so hard to go wrong with the Pontoon. It is so damn fun to attack the deepest days on those, but it is just that a REAL pow ski with the swallow tail style.

my brother is about 6'0 and 75 kilos, he has the bent chetler and he said they are the most amazing ski hes ever ridden. easy to throw around and he could still carve on groomers. also they look sick
