Please, please, please build some features for the little kids and the big kids who are just learning. The stuff that was in the Tiegel park the past few years was great. Low, non-threatening boxes, simple rails that don't require a big jump to mount, small jumps, etc. Big features are fun to watch people hit, but small ones make the park accessible and inviting for guests who want to progress. Plus they make for great teaching tools when teaching kid lessons. I'd love to see a small ride-on rainbow box, a small curved box so kids can get the hang of the hook, that sort of thing.
Oh, and build us a freakin' halfpipe so we can have a snowboard team that doesn't have to go elsewhere to practice. After seeing the pictures of the building of tubeville, it is increasingly difficult to believe the story that Alpine isn't allowed to dig in the ground because of some Forest Service rule.
The tubing thing is probably cool. The fat kids will have something to do after they give up on snowboarding when they find out snowboarding requires you to continually lift your ass off the snow.
