/sarcasm?
i really can't tell.
if not sarcasm, let me know and i will point you in the direction of some good sources and also explain why i have an orange name.
if sarcasm, lol you had me confused as shit

DO IT. As dali once said "Everyone should eat hashish, but only once.", but apply it to DMT.

Smoked DMT in a thunder storm on a mountain last summer. I forgot the details with in 30 seconds of coming down, but what i learned will never be forgotten.

hahah, you just lack self control like eheath said earlier. My older brother smoked the best kush in toronto for over 15 years EVERY DAY and he quit cold turkey in october. No alchohol, no cigs. I smoked weed for a few months pretty frequently, I fucking LOVED it too, as an artist it opens up new doors in your brain and helps you think differently about pretty much everything. I quit because 1: it was getting really expensive. 2: Once every while I would smoke at the wrong time (when Im feeling shitty or anxious) and I would get awful body highs and just terrible trips in general. For me, the thought of going through these shitty trips again was just not worth the euphoria of a good ones so I quit. (also I would be burnt out for like 2 days if I had a shitty one)

Just stop. The best way to overcome specifically a weed habit is to just stop entirely.

The first few days will be rough, it'll be hard to sleep. Hard to stay motivated and you'll be pretty bored. Just chug through it for 1 week and by the 7th day, you'll feel much better. I smoke a lot, almost every day, because I'm home alone almost every week day with nothing to do. I use it at something to pass time when I'm not with friends. Give yourself something to do. If this costs a little money, its worth it. Think of how much more you're smoking every day. I'm not talking about going on a walk or something, do something you'll enjoy. You want to ski but its summer? Go build a summer set up. Sure you might not use it much, but its something to do. Go to the mall and just buy some stuff. Start working out. It passes time, you meet great new people, and to me, after a tiring work out, my body will just melt into my couch and sorta tingle. Its like an indica feel without any head high or high side effects.

when i wanted to take breaks from weed the first day was always the hardest, after thats its nothing. i used to smoke a fairly hefty amount before it started getting all weird. i've pretty much quit for good now, only blazed up twice in 2011 and the most i smoked during either of those sessions was half a joint.

drink a fuckload of coffee every morining... some say energy drinks but they make me wanna hurl when i drink them first thing in the morning.

If you want to stop smoking weed, do it.

I quit for a couple months a few different times. Trying to get certain jobs, and a couple times just because.

Eat some mushrooms or l instead, stop smoking weed. Easy. I've smoke a bowl worth of weed in the last 2 years. Quit completely

THIS.

i had to stop smoking a few weeks ago after smoking everyday all day since november 2009(year and a half roughly). during that time, as soon as i woke up i blazed, and kept it going all throughout the day. It was really hard the first week. i had cold sweats, felt down, ZERO appetite, and just kinda shitty in general. if you get past the first week it gets 100 times easier.

but getting back to spencers point, KEEP BUSY. pick up a sport, hang out with friends all day who dont smoke. just keep yourself constantly busy so there no time to think about smoking. I have a buddy whose in the army and cant smoke, so we just kicked it all day for like a week straight. always were out doing something. hiking, frisbee, kicking the soccer ball around. just anything active. it worked well. its been a little over 3 weeks now and i dont feel the need to smoke anymore. my serotonin levels are back to normal, and lifes great.

the other good thing is when you take long breaks, and then you go back to toking, you get RIPPED with very little erb. so just think about how good the high will be when you do go back to smoking.

lol I've heard that if you do, your brain doesn't produce DMT when you die and your death fucking sucks more than it would have normally.

READ THISmy mom is fucking gay and sent me to drug counselling when she caught me hzing, weed is not addictive in anyway. if you think you are addicted its all in your head and you just really like beingg high

i quit about 3 or so months ago. i smoked a lot of bud, probably a good 5+ times a day and even more on the weekends lol. unfortunately, it wasn't my own decision to quit, but i knew i had to because of random drug testing. i really had almost no negative effects besides insomnia for the first couple nights.

the worst part for me was simply that i just wanted to get high. the habit of waking up and smoking, or getting back from class and wanting to pack a bowl and relax, etc. was the hardest part to get over. after like 3 days i had no problems getting over it. it's mentally addicting, and that can be hard to overcome for sure...

after like 3 weeks though i decided that i wanted to venture into some K2, K4, etc. type products. at first a 3 gram container lasted like 2 weeks cause i would get fucking ripped after like 1-2 hits lol. now i've built a tolerance for it too so i've cut back on it as well as of like this week haha. plus the shit is for sure bad for you, but what isn't anymore? same side effects with this shit as it is with weed, no big deal really. i am considerably worse at cod lol

however, i'd say i'm psychologically dependent on marijuana. shit sucks cause my job doesn't allow for that and it's not worth risking a career on smoking weed unfortunately lol. idk you just gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, is the way i see it.

^this was a consistent smoking lifestyle for a good 2-3 years blazing as much as i stated previously. for 2 years before that i still probably smoked everyday pretty much. for the record.

i used to smoke 1-3 times a week, but now i havnt smoked for almost 2 weeks. i have plenty of weed still.

i think i just got bored of it. or am i broken?

I hear that spice is super bad for your lungs and shit, but I smoke it anyways. K2 and Funky Monkey are the only good ones. The high is basically exactly the same, but doesn't last as long. And way more body high with Funky Monkey. I've been smoking it regularly for the past couple months because I'm getting tested.

Oh yeah, you do build up a tolerance really quickly. You get high as shit the first few times but now I have to smoke like at least a gram to myself to get high.

weed addiction=mental addiction, not physical. It's the same way people have to get over a hump when getting onto a diet. Just gotta commit to it, I was able to get off weed by just saying I'm not gonna do it (then again it did help having my parents threaten to send me to rehab -.-). Just gotta get over the hump, it is possible.

this. its mental and fortunately its not physically addictive so if anyone wants to stop it takes getting over it and you dont need to worry about feeling (physically) like shit like alcohol or most other drug additction

well the standard shit is pretty weak, i completely disagree with the dude above that said k2 and funky monkey are the only good ones...those are two of the weakest you can buy in my experiences...(and my friends experiences, lol we all smoke this shit due to drug testing now, how redic)

anyways, i'd honestly say that this shit produces more of the stereotypical "high" qualities that are supposed to come with marijuana, than marijuana lol.

giggles, anxiety, paranoia, spacing out, munchies, eyes beyond red, overall slowed movement etc.

k2 and funky monkey are fine for the first few times you smoke this shit, but if you want to get ripped there are other brands that are much better...i'm talking much better.

mr. nice guy, darkness, barely legal, and the best one (by far) is pure evil...to name a few. i usually buy darkness and mr. nice guy because they at least leave me functioning after smoking.

pure evil....one hit....you will be fucking gone.

little story...my buddies and i went to a motocross race 2 weeks ago and camped out...my one friend and i had previously smoked pure evil, the other had not. we all took one hit each and leave the truck to go grab a beer or some shit. all the sudden we can't find our friend for like an hour or so. we just figured he was at another camp site...he comes back and is literally covered from head to toe in scratch marks like a cat scratched his entire body, all you could see were scratch marks. turns out the motherfucker tripped balls and ran through the woods for an hour thinking people were chasing him and shit. army crawling through the forest...all from one hit of pure evil.

and this kid has done plenty of drugs as well as psychedelics in his life time, said it was the craziest trip of his life.

read the reviews on this shit, it's wild: http://www.legalhighreviews.com/100-pure-evil-smoke-review/

i'd much rather smoke bud lol

Pure Evil sounds nuts. I shouldn't have sounded so sure of myself, I have only smoked like 5 diff kinds and the other ones besides K2 and Funky Monkey weren't very good. I'll have to try to find this Pure Evil, there is one smoke shop I buy from because they don't card there and I'm not of age so hopefully they carry it.

yeah i wish i could, but the government wants me to smoke this shit instead lol

i've seen some crazy shit happen with people smoking this shit too. much scarier (read: life threatening) experiences than i posted above. everyone reacts differently to it so you have to be pretty careful...

Its tough though, if i couldn't smoke i really don't know if i would smoke that shit or not.

To the OP, weed reacts completely differently with some people. I know in my case, weed doesn't have as many negative effects it's "supposed" to have, i have been smoking everyday for a little while. I have been able to quit for a 2, 6 month periods(jobs). But for some people they become way more dependent than they need to be and start to show the typical "stoner" symptoms, at this point it's up to the person to decide what they want to do. If you feel you're becoming to dependent, quit for a little while and see if it helps, when it doesn't light that shit and get on my level.

correct.

cooking, vaporizing, and bongs are the best way to go in terms of being health conscious. in order. the plant material being burnt is pretty much the only negative health effect; tar build up is more prevalent with marijuana, from my understanding. sticking to the 3 aforementioned techniques for consumption is the safest.

exactly. the THC isnt bad and will do nothing bad to your lungs (aka vape) but when you smoke it, combusting plant material can be bad for you over time. still its no where near what tobacco does to you.

WHat's it like to be high ALL the time? I've always wondered what it'd be like to just be stoned for like two weeks straight...

I feel like it would be realllly hard to function and get important shit done. I'm all for getting high and I fucking love it but I feel like being stoned all the time would kinda suck.

to be honest after your constantly smoking for the first few days, you get so used to the effects, it seems like your sober in a way. the only time i really felt ripped was when i hit the gas mask or smoked a whole blunt to my self, tip to roach. besides that your body gets used to the effects. first high of the day was heavy cause i (technically) was sober all night while i slept. then after that its just a constant buzz. its not like im fkn ripped all day. just a nice normal buzz. i could do anything stoned that i could do sober, and most of the time i could do it better. golfing for instance. erb helps me slow down my backswing and concentrate on my putting better. just the suttle differences i guess.

also for the record i have never been pulled over for speeding while stoned, or even pulled over period. as opposed to the 4 speeding tickets i have gotten while sober. im a lot more patient when i smoke. im a more courteous driver, and not just worried about getting to point A to point B as fast as i can(like i am when im sober). its not that im scared of being pulled over by a cop, cause im really not. i dont mind talking to people while im stoned. its not a big deal because i know the effects are only in my head and not on the outside. im just a nicer person when i smoke. EX: wanna switch lanes in front of me without a turn signal? go ahead, ill slow down and let you over. im just jammin to my music and enjoying the day, no need for hostility. (sober id prolly be yelling wtf at the guy)

What worked for me the last time I quit was to start seeing a girl that doesn't smoke for two reasons...

1) You're going to want to fuck all day every day if you're not high- way more than you already do. It helps with the mood swings and will tire you out before bed tho, so sex will def help get you through if that's at all possible for you.

2) If she doesn't smoke, it'll be easier for you to assimilate towards a lifestyle of not being high all the time.

just try to gradually smoke less and it will get easier as you go along, as far as increasing the risk of cancer I don't think there's much you can do to combat that other than being active, eating well, having a generally healthy lifestyle.

im pretty much on par with everything you have said so far.

why did you have to stop?

i cant find a reason to stop so i dont.
