A new ski game

Everyone still lobbying for clothes can go right ahead and fuck off. We need to get the gameplay dialed and all the grabs up before we worry about fashion.

The biggest thing that I'd like is slower rotations! I know a lot of people have requested this, but I think being able to do a triple should be pretty hard, rather than being able to throw a quad. The physics in Jibbin were shitty, and this has already beat it. But more physics, more fun!

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but ever since the new update when you hold the shifty button to tweak a grab and release the grab button the rider holds his grab. I miss being able to shifty out of tricks. Can this get fixed?
 
This is the bad thing on the new update. But it's better cause for some people it doesn't work for example if you hold b&r and press left.
 
This! At least make it so that when you can realise e or r after doing a tweaked grab the skier wont re do the grab if you push e or r to shifty again to fast!
 
Am I the only one that doesn't like the uncrossed tail ?

I would really love a tweaked mute and a more crossed tail on the default tail
 
I haven't found any tricks that looks good with the uncrossed tail but unless he is going to change it to something else its good to have more grabs to choose from. And tweaked mute would be sick!
 
It would be sick to have a setup like the streets at seven springs.

You could hit the closeout, gap to wallride, some handrails, or the ledge gap to another ledge that's not in this picture.
 
i use it as stalefish and do clayton/sean esque cork 7s and 9s. they look swerve as hell. tweak mute would be the mute pulled behind his back, i like that
 
This, I've said it before but make an uncrossed tail a separate key and make the tweaked format of that a stalefish.
 
I wish the skier would look the way he spins. Would be fairly simple to do (I think) and would make it that much more realistic.
 
Yep same here ! I'd like to see true critical or true nose.Doesn't anybody know how to rodeo out the canon box ?
 
I think the uncrossed blunt would only look good if the skis are like right up next to each other during the grab (keefer style) and there also needs to be a stale fish grab.

The bow and arrow also needs to be fixed up a bit.
 
for some reason my computer freezes and the restarts its self when ever i try and play shred sauce... any ideas why? i have tried redownloading unity and it wont even load on google chrome. im using my macbook pro that is 3 months old... ive had some other problems with it freezing and restarting with other things but i thought it had gone away. i might just take it back to apple and ask them wtf is going on.
 
Long term goals need to be letting the community contribute to customize clothing, tricks, grabs and ski terrain , and continue to improve the physics. Malcom you are on to something, this really is the best freesking game yet and its really fun, but u have to let us help you complete this design project!

Both me and a friend had this come up many times and I formatted my computer witch worked, my friend only deleted unity and he haven't had any more problems..

I havent tryed downloading unity since I formatted my computer neither have my friend so I am not 100% sure if unity is what caused the problems..
 
Cosmetic items don't make the game. New content does. I admit it does make variation in the game but still, I'd rather see grabs, maps, ... People should stop asking for clothes and stuff and wait till the game has more content. Malcolm will probably add it when he feels it's the right time.
 
Calm the fuck down dude, he said long term goals, and i completley agree with him, as probably does malcom. This game seems very beta at the moment, and stuff like getting customizable clothes is something that will full out the game alot more. Yes, he does need to add more rails and jumps and such, but that doesn't meant that adding stuff life more customizing is good as well.
 
Just stop the god damn bickering about new clothes or not.

A lot of people have said they want new clothes, and then the very next post is someone just telling them that it is stupid and we need new maps first. Obviously a lot of people want new clothes, and a lot of people think that it is not a stupid idea. Not saying that I necessarily agree, but people are just throwing out ideas.

 
I think that some community led design would be good for the project, it would allow for some to get clothes and others to have new features/maps. It would speed up the process of the game being perfected although malcolm is doing incredibly well.
 
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I'm going to assume that you aren't because a lot of people think the same way as you. New clothes is not a stupid idea. I'm sure every single person on here would welcome the ability to change the clothes on the skier. However, as of RIGHT NOW its probably not in Malcolm's best interest to implement it, as the game is still in a very beta phase as of right now. He's fleshing out the physics and park setup, but I think that customization options are a HUGE necessity in any type of sport game. It brings it out of the "beta" fashion that the game is in, and is necessary to flesh out the game as a whole. Right now, it probably isn't necessary, but it's not a dumb idea, and people need to stop bitching about people asking for it, but people also need to stop asking for it. It will eventually happen.
 
yeah thats it. it only comes up when i try and play shred sauce... it sucks tho cause i want to play so badly haha but probably a good thing at the time cause i have a lot of homework...
 
google chrome keeps giving me a "could not load unity player"tried deleting the cache to no avail.

works on safari but safari sucks.

WTF?!?!?
