it might just be me but every time i go out of fullscreen now i have to restart my computer because it freezes, but no lag overall though, so im not really sure what to think.

would look so much sicker if the rails and jumps cast shadows too. It's weird to look like you're sliding on air.
 
yeah, is there any way of upping the graphics with unity? I know nothing about creating a game so if its too hard nbd but it would be nice to try and slowly get it up to at least ssx quality. dont know how much work that would be though...
 
when i play on my 37" hdtv with thunderbolt to HDMI the quality is amazing. This game so dang fantastic. I have ceased to have boredom. just awaiting more grabs and more features or locations! forget all the outfit/ski/nonsensical pointless changes.
 
^Noted. I can always go in and tweak the grabs a little.

I just made the game less laggy. I still need to fix the animations so they don't jitter. The shadows weren't slowing the game down, it was something in my code getting repeated a shit load of times that I had to fix.

 
Hey Malcolm, just a thought - I think uncrossed tail would work better as the base grab, then the tweak button should cross it. That way you don't get the character trying to cross his skis for a millisecond when you go for uncrossed tail.
 
That second page, less lag version is still cleaner than the home page right now.... IMO but that page is the smoothest version yet!
 
As a huge Jibberish/Jibbin player from way back, I love this game.

What I've always wanted in ski a game isn't a particular grab or tweak, but a "body position". I hate the unnatural default upright position the character is in when not grabbing. The shifty movement without the "shifty" comes close to what I have in mind.. The position would be for spinning on/off features and just certain air times you'd rather be grabless but not bonered either.

Stemming from this, there could also be a "tap' button.. So instead of grabbing the character does that sort of tip-dive move seen when nose tapping a feature (think Collins in the last splash page). It can also be for tail taps too obviously.

Try going really corked on a right cork 7/9, and hold F. At around 450/540, let go of F, and press R. He switches from left hand blunt to right hand uncrossed tail. It looks pretty sick if you do it on a super corked 7/9.
 
Just tap up arrow after you've popped to bring your axis of rotation forwards, then spin. Usually you'll land perfectly because you need to manually adjust for your landing angle in SS by pressing up at some point anyway. Looks good with a tailgrab.
 
can you make the boxes that are big enough to be wall riden...wallrideable. Most of the boxes I just go right through if i hit the side. Especially the red flat down at the top..
 
Have been playing this game for a while its sick no problems besides a little lag here and there but other than that sick game! good job!!
 
not sure if thats sarcasm, i thought it was a good idea, and 60+ pages to search through is more work than I'm willing to do, call me crazy
 
There are so many things that could be better than new skins. Who honestly cares what the skier looks like
 
Yeah, can't blame you.But a lot of people have been following this since page 1 :P

Yes, the truck-grind would be dope, but it has been brought up on every page for probably the last 10 pages...

But, maybe make it vary a bit. So you create three different animations for it, and then just have it if the character is in the air but not grabbing, he is in one of those 3 random positions. This way it's not always the same way in the air, just like real life. No one spins exactly the same way every time.

But yeah, don't think it would be too tricky to make.

Has anyone else gotten here? And I found a glitch that almost every time shoots you straight up into the air to free fall for about 15 seconds and then you usually end up around over where I am in that picture.
