90's kids will know

That's it, I'm going digging. I'm calling the ma dukes and finding some quality 90s school pics and such. I can recall one where she made me wear a turtleneck so I made the most rediculous smirk face ever, but my crown jewel I already know. Spiked up hair, fuckin' laser beams out the ass, pretty sure I was wearing a bugle boy shirt and I know for a fact I had some oldie neon wayfarer knockoffs in my pocket because the picture person wouldn't let me wear them in the pic... Total classic. I WILL find it.

Holy shit just thinking about it I am remembering some classic pics I have. I can't wait to post 'em, I'mma show these 90s babies what's REALLY good up in this bitch.

if you had been older than 7 and searching pics and using chatrooms in 98 your mind might just have been blown. Point proven, you were there, yet you did not get the full experience.

Geocities ftw

i owned a computer with internet access at 3 years old that my parents eventually took away because i was spending way too much time on it, but yeah i was still just a kid so my experience has nothing to do with this thread. i'm out.

holy cow. so you never had to use the encyclopedia for school papers.

here's some more 90s kid shit....

remember making photos in macpaint when it was still black and white, and just drawing random shapes and filling the shapes with the brick or cherry print...then the spray can came out--that was the shit. Then printing these macpaint masterpieces on your printer that had the connected perforated paper with the tear-off sides?

Oh the dot matrix masterpieces...

And Carmen Sandiego of course. That crafty bitch was always stealing shit.

Did anybody else have the olympic game for the NES that had the powerpad you ran on? God I loved that game, even when everybody said fuck it and started using their hands to drum the dude along at 65mph it was still awesome.

omg and excitebike!?!?? Jumping that bitch so high out the top it came out the bottom of the screen!?!? Too awesome.

Sorry I'm nostalgia'ing hard right now.

oh and i just remembered i used to have this puzzle/typing Carmen Sandiego game where if i didn't type fast enough Carmen would pop out of nowhere and shoot my character dead. it was legitimately terrifying.

I'm right there with ya man. 31 tomorrow, what better a day than this to roll around in some nostalgia.

Fuck you, now I wanna play excitebike so bad. Or that offroad truck game at the arcades where you could just whip the steering wheel in either direction and it would spin for days. Fuckin eh, arcades period for matter, they don't even have em in malls anymore these days. It used to be like teenage mayhem in that shady back corner of the mall.

snobunny and Huck are giving my crazy memory moments, wow.

Andrew Keegan and JTT were highlights of my 90s tv watching.

I definitely wore my ponytail on the side. Scrunched socks. And jelly shoes.

And I loved mood rings.

yes, carmen....AND... doubledare, gak, hot loops, gecko, hypercolor, no fear, stussy, goosebumps, garbage pail kids, baseball cards and becketts...

yes...i definitely had a side pony in the 80s also, crimped sometimes, with those little plastic buckles that hold the front of your shirt to one side, with my espirit book bag-- cause backpacks went out for a while.

"Why does Lemmy always have that cocoa puff stuck to his cheek??""

have Crazy Bones been mentioned yet? i remember trading up all my crap ones for rare ones and having the most ballin collection at my school. i always thought Crazy Bones were better than Pogs but i'm pretty sure Pog outlived them.

Never even heard of em, course i was slammin beers by the time pogs were popular so that could explain it.

I did have about a million micro machines though.

I don't know what's worse, him getting AIDS from a passed out chick or him drinking all the backwash swill sips he could find the morning after the party. Ugh.

You Can't do That on Television

GUTS

Captain Kangaroo

American Gladiators

Wow now that I think of it, 90s TV really did shit on what we have today.

duck tails, tailspin, full house, step-by-step, growing pains, shop-till-you-drop, blossom, doogie, family matters, TGIF, clarissa explains it all, 90210, nick arcade, and remember watching americas funniest home videos with your parents? I do...

other things from 90s...sports illustrated for kids, the oregon trail, big league chew, those jaw breakers that lasted weeks, hubba bubba soda, discmen, the michal jordan wings poster, gangstas paradise...i mean...what 90s kid doesn't know every lyric to this?

oh.my.god.

i would have forgotten half of this stuff existed had this thread not reminded me.

Totally blows my mind that the chick on the cover of that kids movie in the upper left is Rosario Dawson, aka the hottie girlfriend from Clerks. holy shit time flies.

this thread brings back sooo many memories.

anyone else play this?

and idk if this is 90's but rollercoaster tycoon was my shit

YES! came out march 31st 1999. i loved the shit out of that game. nothing beat overfeeding your guests, penning them into a little trail area so they would barf everywhere, and then drowning them.

Ok lets break this down....Not many people remember much from 1-3. By the time you would turn 9 it would be the year 2000 (check out gorillaz 19-2000 for a killer song btw).

Therefore from age 4-8 which is only 4 years out of 10....which is 40%. According to Eureka of Eurkea's castle in order for you to be a 90s kid you need to have been cognitive for at least 73% of the 90s.

Now I agree it is tough to decide at what age do you stop being a kid. I would ask MJ, priests, or Sandusky they are the experts.

what were the colorful small guys with different shapes. Uh iron heads, no. Something like that? someone please that horrible description ring a bell with someone. I had so many.
