360 tips

so i'm able to do 360's off side hits almost flawlessly, but when I tried doing them off actual park jumps i kept landing on my tails and falling because of this. I would really appreciate some tips if anyone has some.

Put more pressure on the tongues of your boots when you pop. You're probably landing flat on side hits so you don't notice being backseat much. But when you land on a real landing, you want to be a little more forward!

Landing back seat can usually be fixed by your take off make sure you get a good pop and don't rush it to much

thx so much for the advice, i literally stomped it first run today

Nice work on dem threes, I find it really helped my consistency with most spins to focus on carving fairly hard into the kickers before extending through takeoffs. It pushes your shins into your boots and helps you initiate the spin early, with the landing coming into view with plenty of time to put your feet down.

True. For me, it also helped when i carved into the kicker and had a good pop off it. Tho it sucks that my "local" hill (which is one hour drive away) doesn't have that big jumps and can't do the 3s steezier u know (lol).

Yeah carving definitely helps you stay upright. Even a small carve. Just make sure when you do your first carving 3 you completely commit to the rotation. You don't want to end up bailing and doing a cork 180, landing switch on your tails.

you sir are logged in AF

also what helped me fix my 3s when I had the same problem was like they said a small subtle carve will get you forward in your boots and set for a good pop and rotation. What also helps me is if i act almost like im holding a pole between both hands so I have a wide solid stance, this also stops penciled 3s and gets you set up for a grab with your knees slightly tucked.

The more you practice off side hits the better. MAke sure you always take off with less shin pressure. The less poppy the jump, the easier it is to not land back seat.

thanks for the tips man! I dont know if you read any of the posts from earlier but i fixed them a while ago, my problem was that i was rushing myself on the take off and trying to start the rotation too early which resulted me throwing myself off axis. the first pic is when i was still messing up, the second one was when i started my rotation later which fixed them. i'd say theres a pretty noticable difference lmao
