so i'm able to do 360's off side hits almost flawlessly, but when I tried doing them off actual park jumps i kept landing on my tails and falling because of this. I would really appreciate some tips if anyone has some.

It pushes your shins into your boots and helps you initiate the spin early, with the landing coming into view with plenty of time to put your feet down.

also what helped me fix my 3s when I had the same problem was like they said a small subtle carve will get you forward in your boots and set for a good pop and rotation. What also helps me is if i act almost like im holding a pole between both hands so I have a wide solid stance, this also stops penciled 3s and gets you set up for a grab with your knees slightly tucked.
