Is the new bacon anything like the old magnum opus? I've been looking for an old pair. I loved mine to death.

bacon 108 and 115 with no more outline. Conves tip/tail is also gone, which personally I'm glad to see as it really didn't do anything. They have the same new burlier construction as the Chronic 94/101.

Haven't skied anything yet but the Magnum was 124 underfoot with that somewhat damper bamboo sidewall so I can't imagine they're too similar in anything other than a softer flex.

That's a lot of skis but if the 100 is significantly softer than current 106 it will be serious contender for my next park skis

Yeah the 100 is definitely more of a park ski than the 106. I think that's why they added it to the line, as the 106 can be on the stiffer side for some looking for that wider park ski. Their new wedge sidewall on them should be a huge bonus to durability as well.

Definitely not the Panterra molds. Look like pretty straightforward Krypton and Lupo replacements to me. Curious about the spec's on that brown/orange "Lupo" as my 130Cs are getting close to needing to be replaced.
 
What about next year K2 FL3X series?: aka Flex aka Fulltilts aka Methods aka Revolvers aka Diverge. ? =)

haha it's very similar but a bit different, we definitely don't the most super unique logo for sure.

Ripstick is SUCH an underrated ski. Cant wait to see what a twin tipped version would be like.
 
I’m not sure how many people on NS are familiar with Cardiff Snowcraft (snowboards), but it would appear that they will be entering the ski game. Not sure if anything will drop for fall 2023 but they are in development of some product. The man who started ///surface skis way back in the day has been working for Cardiff Snowcraft after surface was bought from him and a stint with Black Diamond Skis as well. Nothing but “unboxing” style photos were on his Instagram stories yesterday. Could be rad.
