Ripstick is SUCH an underrated ski. Cant wait to see what a twin tipped version would be like.

It's unfortunate that Reddit has turned me off to the ripstick line, as I could possibly see myself enjoying it for all mountain days. After all...I'm a rad dad.

Yeah my bad I meant to say 116. Was supposed to be a Cole Richardson / Sam Kuch pro model, now just gonna be Cole’s

Im afraid not :/

Saw a picture and it has the same shape as pon2oon :/

Superwide in the front, waaay narrower in the back.

Why would the update that instead of bringing back the bent? Such a weird choice.

I would love to set the Hellbent back in a more lightweight option. We used this one a bit shorter at the park. Medium kickers and rails was so much butter and slapping fun all day long special in the spring time

Yeah. I have the 2012 179 one, but I would love a lighter weight version in like 170. Just for the hell of it.

Btw. Findinding used Hellbents in the 169 is almost impossible.

Anyone knows the 2024 color for the K2 Sammy Carlson boot ?? Any pictures?

View attachment 1061497

There isn't anything good yet, I only got to see a very low quality line drawing of it. What I can say is all the pro model fl3x boots will be in a similar looking line where the bottom shell is white and then the uppers are different colors/patterns.

Also if anyone needs this years SC boot, lemme know, we way over ordered and could cut an NSer a good deal!!

You’re super high bub

This. Brands will always make their products' names sound good in their home language/market first.

And this is especially true with the French. A person I know & trust attended last month's Dynastar international sales meeting in France (their big kick off of things 23/24) and Dynastar held the entire meeting in French. For an international sales meeting. With 15 or so different countries attending. That might help put things into perspective.

I've tried doing drugs, I'm just not good at it

You’re good at the wine and alcohol game tho and pretty damn good at dabbling with ski boots. Lol I’m all seriousness tho absolutely loved your blister podcast talking about the new boa system and boots!! So damn good! You never miss a detail G! Big ups and I highly recommend every take a listen if you’re questioning the boa at all and it’ll give you all the answers you need

Thanks, man! I guess whisky just comes naturally haha. Glad you are digging the podcasts and what we are putting out. For as much as people hate on the new BOA - I honestly get it. I was super skeptical at first and until I got prototypes in my hand, I thought it was a bad idea. I needed to try it in order to believe in it. This is just one of those things that it will take actually trying on and experiencing for yourself. It just fits better.

You guys ever think it’s not a sender and not a black ops? Maybe it’s more than a new model in an existing group of skis.

Is it more sender than blackops? No twin tail?

Oh I totally get that! I’m definitely alittle skeptical but I also know you don’t put out stuff that doesn’t work and being a boot fitter I can’t wait to ski them and fit people in them. It’s gonna solve all the problems I come across when fitting people. I’m 100% behind it, it’s just getting everyone else on board for it.

Why? Max, Logan, and the team have been on them for a year. Max’s in comp dub….110

Where was the mount point?

I certainly believe in your boot design abilities. I'm just going to choose to wait and see about durability via the masses. I'd do the same with bindings as well, and it deeply concerns me that the STH16 seems to be getting phased out in favor of the Strive since I have no clue what that binding will be like

Yeah Logan has a 192 118.

I’m assuming max’s proto doesn’t have the air tip.

However a bunch of the riders(parker, baker, marcusG, jacob) are ripping the model now which has the airtip so it’s probably fine. Hopefully I can try a pair when they come out soon!

Skied the 184 sender free yesterday (I'd want a 191 personally but they only had 184) and was quite impressed. Definitely more tail rocker than I was expecting for a "sender" line of ski. The mount point was also more forward than I was expecting. The ski felt fast like a freeride ski but way more jibby than I would've thought. Basically, I'm surprised the ski didn't end up in the blackops line. Kind of wish it would've only to get better graphics but otherwise pretty stoked on it. Perfect day to test them as there was some boot deep pow on the ridge at loveland then also plenty of bumps n groomers.

We'll be getting 3 pairs of the 184cm in the shop to sell next month if any NSers are interested!

Thanks for the report! Any chance you or anyone has weight a set of the 184cm skis with or without bindings. Still curious what it actually weighs.

Our pair was 2200 g per ski

It's possible to find this 192 lenght ?

Thanks!

That’s where I was guessing they would be. Not quite Blackops weight but not a lightweight ski.

Definitely not light, and for anyone who's worried about Air Tip, don't. The swing weight isn't as hefty as the 118, but that seems more due to the fact that it's simply not quite as heavy. Unlike many Air Tip skis, the Sender Free 110 doesn't have a huge drop off in stiffness once you reach that part of the ski. It's pretty dang strong throughout, actually stiffer through the tips and tails than the 118. If it didn't have the little transparent part in the base, I'd never guess it had that honeycomb insert (in a good way).

It should really be called a BO 110, but I think Senders just sell more, and I'm guessing all their freeride people will (continue to) be on it. It's like a mix between the BO 118 and Sender Ti / Sender 106Ti+, but much more of a 118 than a Sender. Mostly it just has (most of) the edge hold of the Sender Ti and isn't quite as ultra-damp / planted as the 118, but it definitely smooths things out better than the Sender Ti, and it's designed around a way more centered mount point than the other Senders (but you can still drive it). It's cool.

Thanks for the details!

Was out on my Blackops 118 today and thought they were like a heavier, more damp and softer flexing tip/tail 21 Faction CT 3.0. Was guessing the Sender Free 110 would be similar and see today that even their weights are identical.

I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need a pair of Sender 110 as I have the 184cm and 190cm CT 3.0 already but we’ll see how that goes…..lol
