so is that the 1080 top sheet ski?

Definitely not. If you watched the videos it’s almost got a full twin shape and sidecut to it where as the qst is nowhere near that lol

So I'm going to guess that most trade shows are not going to happen this year. Are we going to get random drops from companies? Or will there be some sort of virtual trade show?

Yeah most trade shows aren’t happening. The drops I don’t know about. I know that a lot of the companies and reps have been having video presentations with the buyers and shops. So pretty much like a virtual trade show.

Biggest length is 179, unless that site is wrong it describes it as a more beginner twin tip and I think some where else they mentioned that was what they were targeting it towards.

yeah beginner / children, like the sight now

I hope not. the 92 would make for a nice daily driver on the east coast. i have the 102 and while they are great on hard pack days something a little more narrow would be great.

The poacher is still a good option

The only cool part about the qst 118 was the long turn radius, this 112 might as well just have the dps logo on the topsheet since dads seem to be the target market of this new design.

you're not wrong but it has a different rocker/camber profile than the reckoner. The reckoner works better in my opinion (for my style of skiing) for mixed conditions and some woods skiing than the poacher.

The Sight still exists for 21-22 and actually is a quite solid ski weirdly. It's more like a skinny, fairly stiff comp ski than something super easy to ski for beginners (or was when I last skied a pair). But I can confirm that the Reckoner 92 is being aimed at the beginner/youth market.

I think the 92 is going to replace the press cause they don't have one for 22

I know I’m pretty bummed how every ski has such a low radius these days. Not everything has to pop around on a groomer like a SL ski to be fun.

Only thing is the old rocker 2 108 had similar dimensions in the 190 and was a cool ski. Maybe the blank will surprise us

I love a nice 30 meter turn radius ski, but I also like a nice 20 meter turn radius ski. Something satisfying about only being able to really carve at speed, but you can lean into it so nice.

I'm a huge fan of short radius skis, but man, 15 is really tight. I have the current SFB @16 and it's a hell of a lot of fun, but not it's not a radius I think belongs in a lot of skis.

What Twig said! The sight was designed for comp skiing but from when it was designed to now, most athletes have embraced wider skis in the park (poacher and reckoner). The price is the main reason that a lot of intermediate skiers but it. Dont be fooled, the Sight is a very solid ski.

Some kind of new ON3P graphics

I wouldn't count it out just cause of the radius — it feels longer than it is on paper. Blank feels kinda like a mix between the QST 106 and the old Rocker2s. Nice amount of heft to it, too.

Isn’t radius a pretty hit or miss thing too? Like it’s a formula? Correct me if I’m wrong.

why do people feel inclined to put random japanese on things. you wouldn't write "aim for the bottom of the hill" on a topsheet in english lmao

Lol true. I really liked that topsheet the first time I saw it yesterday but I kind of changed my opinion already

Really curious what the specs will be given Henrik’s been (supposedly) skiing skinnier skis because of his knees, but the E Dollo is such a popular ski.

Looks like a full sidewall too. My dollos are not full sidewall they use that armada semi cap.

I guess Im just upset about sizes, at 6'3 skiing a 179 twintip with centerd mounting just isnt ideal no matter how stiff ;)

Unsure if this got posted but the Atomic maverick similar to the bc with the horizon tip

At this point I think the majority of Atomic skis have that “HRZN” tip, including their skimo skis. Personally I’m still in the “can’t hurt, might help a little bit” camp on that.

New all-mountain/freeridey shred sticks. If anyone was a fan of the Ritual/Alibi days, these will make you happy.

Poplar woodcore + 2 sheets of metal, Redster G9 base.

stoked to try em at the atomic ride day in a couple weeks.

I'll come tell you guys how it goes!

but very light? do they have any power to them?

The listed weights look off to me. I have a hard time believing three different width skis are the exact same weight, to the gram. Looks like an intern goof. Will check on Monday.

If I hit the powerball and or mega millions do you think I could pay Atomic to bring back the Blog with a few updates?
