Well of course you wouldnt think so...youre one of them. As a pats fan, though, you probably find the bandwagon of brady haters annoying. Its the same thing. Hating seahawk fans is just the new NFL-wide bandwagon.

Nope, I love that people hate Brady. Makes it all the more sweet when he wins.

God, the pro bowl really is the biggest "who gives a fuck?" event of the season.

Not gonna lie, I was entertained for the first half, second half was a joke. It was funny seeing defensive players on offense and vise versa. I bet NYGs were PISSED odell was playing free safety, what a terrible way to get hurt if he had.

Yeah first half was so much better than last year the fact that they actually try to wrap them up or push them out of bounds instead of just standing still. I mean Im not saying go 100 on a pro bowl game but it's not fun watching lines standin around like it's scout and the qb gets 30 seconds to throw.

another talented player that wont get a ring :( twas fun watching him play and at least we can get some money to repair the O-line. still sucks he didn't get very close. it does feel like barry sanders 2.0.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Get this! After spending millions of dollars and attempting to suspend arguably the greatest quarterback who has ever lived for improper PSI levels in footballs, the NFL didn't even bother tracking PSI levels in the balls this season!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Big enough deal to try to ruin somebody's life, not a big enough deal to even attempt to actually measure and record the data. Unbelievable. I'm sure all you fucking morons who hate the Pats because they're better than your team will still sit there and somehow convince yourselves that the NFL is legit and that Brady and the Pats are cheaters. Please, can one of you idiots hating on the Pats explain the mental gymnastics you put yourself through to continue making the NFL the good guys and Brady the bad guy? Literally every step of the way through Deflategate the NFL has been caught lying or manipulating data or ignoring testimonies and facts that point towards the Pats having done nothing wrong, and you fucktards still somehow sit there and tell yourselves it's all correct and proper and the NFL are heroes for trying to take down Brady and that he's just a cheater who never would have done anything of note had it not been for all the scheming he and Belichick do. Absolutely unbelievable that this is happening, that after making the League, the Pats, and most of all Brady crawl through a world of shit this offseason over deflategate, and will continue to do so this off season going back to court to appeal the decision to overturn Brady's suspension, they don't even fucking bother to track PSI data this year. Even I, who all season have been trying to get you all to understand the depths of Goodell's corruption and evil, never imagined the NFL wouldn't even bother to chart PSI data after Deflategate. Holy hell.

Even worse i bet they did but the late season games showed the balls deflating on their own in the cold. Rather than be wrong goodell decided to completely lie about the entire operation.

You could be right. They were saying they were going to release the data this week, probably to fuck with the Pats and distract everyone again if they had made it to the Superbowl, then all of a sudden it doesn't exist? So either they never collected it at all, or it just showed nothing that would incriminate Brady, so they got rid of it. Either way, just another shady, scummy move from the NFL in this whole mess they created. How Goodell still has a job is beyond me. How anyone can believe anything the NFL says about anything is beyond me.

Once again, fuck Goodell, fuck the NFL, fuck all of you Patriot/Brady haters, suck our dicks.

This is why i hate the patriots..... not because of the supposed cheating, or how good they are. in fact its why i have a strong dislike of all boston teams/fans. so loud. we get it for fucks sake. this thread is the exact same thing year after year lol. pretty hilarious.

That's rich. A Seahawks fan complaining about other team's fans being too loud. The team whose fans are best known for loving to make sure everybody knows how big of a Seahawks fan they are is upset that other fans are loud. Literally, Seahawks' fans biggest claim to fame is that they're the loudest in the league, and you're upset that other teams fans are loud? Where does it end?

Also, pretty sure you said a couple pages back something to the effect of being glad that "the deflater" lost. Seems like you sure do think they're cheaters. Also, pretty sure Goodell doesn't frame the Pats for cheating every single year, so no, it's not the same thing year after year. Clearly you don't get it. Did you even read my post? You don't think it's fucking insane that Goodell put the league through Deflategate then either didn't bother tracking PSI data this season or destroyed it before sharing it with the world? He's going to court AGAIN this summer to try to get rid of Brady, and is now doing so with absolutely no data about PSI whatsoever to present. You have no problem with this?

Problem is, most "fans" do not realize it was "supposed" and take it as a matter of fact. If it was any other team, it would not be like this. Think about the supposed HGH issues with Peyton, no one really cares about it, but if it was Brady, the NFL fandom would be up in arms.

I'm talking about this thread. Yeah the Seattle fan base is loud. I'm not. I post in this thread. Not he Seattle fan base. Never said anything along the lines of the deflator lost. If I did it was in sarcasm. I am glad the patriots lost. But that's not why. It seems way to much of a challenge for us to discuss football in a respectable manor.

Honestly, I've been calling Pats fans cheaters ever since the Spygate, not the Deflategate. Only once has that happened after 2008 and that was with the Broncos in 2010, by Josh McDaniels, who happens to be... wait what? Patriot's OC? He tarnished our history and fucked us for next two years drafting Tim Tebow after getting both Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn that offseason. This is why I hate the Pats.

Still that is so hypocritical to call out the Patriots as the only cheaters in the situation. Numerous coaches and ex-personnel have come out saying they did it as well.

The only reason the Patriots were punished was due to the fact that they did it from an unauthorized area, not that they actually did it.

But getting upset at McDaniels because he was a shit GM/HC is more on your organization for giving him that power.

Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to have Goodell and the nfl to drag your team and the best player in franchise history through the mud for months on end and have the whole world jump on it and declare everything your team has ever accomplished as tarnished, then when it comes out that the nfl is putting out a lot of sketchy info and doing some very shady things, nobody makes a peep? And on top of that most people either don't know or just ignore all the facts and blindly continue to call your team and players cheaters? To have your qb attacked to no end and declared a horrible cheater even though there is no solid proof that he is, then see the whole world forgive another qb for hgh allegations and say that he deserves the benefit of the doubt and anyone who doesn't give it to him is a scumbag?

Let's talk respectfully. I asked how anyone can still believe anything the nfl has to say about anything. If you don't, then cool, if you do, then I'd love to hear how you justify it after deflategate.

it's publicly available information that happens to be aggregated on one site.. I don't think that discredits it even the slightest.

You're mad that the Patriots won championships in spite of the fact that they were the only team to which a punishment was levied for spygate.

reading comprehension for me one time.

Would be nice to actually talk about football instead of it descending into fandom bitching on every page lol but I guess that's the price of talking football on a skiing site

honestly it doesn't shock me that Denver came away with this one. they weren't going to let an embarrassment like the game vs. seattle happen again. that defense is insanely good, von miller deserved that MVP title 100%. Hell of a player, Cam seemed shook the whole game. That D-line kicked his ass all over the field. Cant get too bummed if you're a Carolina fan though. It was a great run and to even make it to the championship game is a feat itself. Definitely a bright future and an NFC contender. Congrats to all the bronco fans. The definition of a storybook ending for Peyton. Now will he retire a colt or a bronco? he did win rings with both of them lol.

Totally agree with everything von miller killed it. Both his strips were for TDs and without them it would have been tied and gone into OT. Really think cam deserved the W, hes been killing it all season. Its pretty good to see a 18 year QB vet take home a ring on his last game every is great to!

Congrats Denver. Your defense earned it, Peyton almost blew it, and frankly should put to end the TB12 vs. PFM debate, but it won't. But on the whole, that was a VERY boring SB, especially after last seasons incredible ending (regardless if you are an NE or SEA fan).

I will be interested to see how Denver handles the FAs, Peyton, etc.

I wonder if we will see CAR come back next year, or if this was a one year "fluke".

Why would it have shocked you? It's been pretty clear for a long time that Denver has a really, really good defense. And we finally figured out what I've been trying to tell people all season: That Cam Newton and Carolina's offense aren't as good as everyone seems to think.

13625474:AirWick said:

He showed absolutely no heart in that game. You want to know the difference between a good qb like Cam and an all-time great like Brady? I guarantee you if Brady is getting stripped with his team down in the first quarter, he is diving head first try to recover that ball even if it means risking injury. Cam just stood there, scared to do anything. Absolutely no hustle, and you don't win big games if you aren't willing to put in any hustle.

Agreed on all accounts. If anything, all this will do is have more and more people saying Peyton is better than Tom. But I've learned you can't expect people to think rationally where Tom Brady is concerned. The level of hatred is just too high.

I don't want to make this about Peyton Manning. He has had an excellent career and has most certainly cemented himself as a Top 5 Greatest QB of all time. He did nothing. The Denver offense did nothing. Midway thru the 4th quarter, they were 1/11 on third down and had SIX first downs the entire game.

This Denver defense will go down as one of the all-time greats. When you are seeing defense like this in this era, it is impossible to deny. Carolina scored 31 & 49 points in the prior two games and was held to 10. Von Miller 100% earned that MVP and it would've been highway robbery for anyone else to receive it.

Luke Keuchly, you are a freak. Win or lose, he is one of the best if not the best MLB in the game. Not sure if everyone knows his story, but he played his HS ball in Pennsylvania as a 6'2", 170lb safety that could absolutely lay the wood. Went to BC on a scholarships to play safety, but after the defense was riddled with injuries, he was bumped to LB and asked to gain 25-30 lbs. I have a fondness for any BC player in the NFL. He will most certainly be a Hall of Fame-er someday.

I tried not to get too butt-hurt about it, but the fans booing both Tom Brady & Deion Branch was sickening and despicable. They are there to be honored for their contributions to their Super Bowl Championships. One of them happens to be in discussion for the greatest player in NFL history. To boo him like that, in his hometown, is an absolute shame. You now know why Patriots fans are the way they are. Tom Brady has been humble and played with a massive chip on his shoulder his entire career. He gives everything to this game and has got virtually nothing back from the fans & the League. What a fucking joke. Even worse perhaps is that 33% of the stadium's tickets were made available to fans of either team, meaning the general body of fans there represent the entire league. Go fuck yourselves, all of you.

bummed the panthers lost but it just didn't seem like they showed up to play on either side of the ball. not discrediting denver's d either, they played a great game. it is good to see peyton is able to end it on a high note. i think that early incomplete pass call made a huge difference in the outcome of the game- to me it looked like a catch, but i'm not the one being paid to ref the super bowl

Really? I thought the Panthers' defense played exceptionally well.

Peyton Manning passed for 141 yards, with a QBR of 9.9 & a QB Rating of 59.9. Perhaps the worst Super Bowl performance of any winning quarterback, ever.

The Broncos rushed for 90 yards on 28 carries, an average of 3.2/carry. Exlcuding CJ's 34 yd carry, that's 56yds on 27 carries, an average just over 2 per.

5 passing 1st downs, 4 rushing 1st downs, 1/14 on 3rd down. 1 for 4 in the red zone. Carolina imposed their will on Denver's offense. Denver benefited immensely from turnovers that gave them very short fields to go, and still couldn't convert into offensive touchdowns.

Defense wins Championships, and both teams had championship caliber defenses.

I think it was more the Bronco's O being bad than the Panther's D being good. Peyton threw a LOT of ducks out there, and almost got DT killed in the first half. Luke absolutely BLEW him up.

I don't disagree with you, I just don't think the assertion that they never showed up was valid. They created opportunities for turnovers. They batted and nearly intercepted a lot of balls. They played the hand they were dealt and forced 3 FGs on drives that began in their own end. You really cannot ask your defense to do much more than that. Without Denver's defensive TD, we're looking at a 10-10 game in the 4th.

Ealy had a hell of a game for the panthers. That was great defensive play by both sides... just not the QB / RB storylines that make for exciting highlight reels. I was entertained watching Cam Newton get pummeled all game.. hard to blame the guy for having a mediocre game when every other play ended with him plastered on the turf.

i guess it seemed like they were off to a slow start. they came out of the gates blitzing and nearly every one was picked apart by peyton, which i thought led to more tentative play calling for a while. i will agree they did do a good job with what they were dealt, when the offense is constantly turning the ball over giving up TDs and field position (special teams too) there's only but so much you can do. maybe it is more fair to say they had a slow start than they didn't show up.

Also, you can't dish it out all season the way he did, acting like a cocky son of a bitch and antagonizing everyone you play when you win, then sulk the way he did in his press conference last night after losing. If you're gonna be a dick when you win and get upset when people criticize you for it, you gotta take it on the chin when you lose.
