Pats were awful today. And a really, really strange decision to decide to kick at the beginning of OT and keep Brady on the bench, which turned out to blow up right in their faces.

But in other news, pretty hilarious how Tom Brady is castrated as soon as it's discovered that the Patriots were missing some air in some footballs, but when it comes out that Manning has been taking enough HGH to kill a rhino, nobody blinks an eye or says anything about it.

Anyone wanna bet $50 that Brady receives a lifetime suspension by the end of the week for tricking Manning into using the HGH?

RIGHT!!! Even Peyton's wife didn't deny the shipments to her home.

Also, I'm so fucking tired of all these Seahawk "fans" who don't even like football. I grew up near Seattle and have been a lifelong Pat's and Cowboys fan. Don't get me wrong, I want the home team to do well... but just because they are playing well doesn't mean I'm going to put a 12th man flag on everything, buy a jersey, and post on FB before every game. I fucking hate all of these Sounder fans pretending to like football. ESPECIALLY girls who have zero interest in the sport. I hope the Seahawks dont make the playoffs next year so everyone will shut the fuck up.

Thats all teams and all sports in every city. Just how it is, why do you think these industries make so much money, because they have a huge core fanbase thats very educated on the sport? Bandwagon fans are the reason these teams make money.

Yeah but the hoards of hipster bandnerds that got introduced to the Seahawks through the Sounders after a decade of hating on football is enough to make everyone vomit. Oh wow Century Link is fun? Who knew? Not you judgmental asshole soccer fans, go fuck yourself.

Doesn't mean it doesn't still annoy the fuck out of me.

Just goes to show Deflategate was all about jealousy and wanting to bring down Brady and the Pats.

Agree with everything you said about the Seahawks. Nothing Seahawks fans enjoy doing more than making sure everyone around them knows how much they love the Seahawks.

Do you guys know anyone from New England? Boston fans might be worse, anyone from the original 13 states will cheer for the pats when they do well.

No deflategate was about tom Brady intentionally cheating and getting away with it because goodell might as well come to your games in a Pats jersey.

This is just not true on all accounts

This is also just blatantly wrong. Clearly you just don't know what you're talking about.

I'm REALLY dcone with this argument but I'll entertain it for the sake of boredom and defending my dude. Deflategate was nothing more than Goodell trying to get back at Brady for past actions that he felt he didn't punish him for. Very simple. Also, idk about the rest of you, but I played QB in high school and it was actually more difficult to throw it accurately when the ball was not properly inflated, albeit easier to catch. Buncha people who have never even touched a football suddenly became experts on them lol.

Not to mention Luck only scored one TD in that game so even if Brady cheated it didn't help their pitiful offensive performance, and the Pat's still walk away with the W in any case.

Stafford is looking fucking great right now and green bay is getting their shit pushed in. Such is life as an NFC north fan.

also if other NFC north teams are tired of seeing the pack win the division year after year, maybe its time these teams stop sucking shit for once. its not like its pre-determined every year.

hawks have to be the most controversial team in the nfl right now. in the past 4 years we have had some wonky things happen in our games.

also saw chandler jones taken to the hospital??

No one knows what the hospital visit was for. Speculations from K2 OD, to anxiety attack, allergic reaction to painkillers, and my personal favorite, a wild coke bender with Gronk (when he was seen in FL).

BB also has a black eye, so do what you will with that information.

I mean, it's all totally fixed, obviously. Pretty sure deflategate/every single thing the Patriots have done for the last 15 years has been more controversial than all the Seahawks shit combined. No offense, but no team can hold a candle to the Pats when it comes to being controversial. And it really isn't close. Like, at all.

They figured out it was synthetic weed. He had a bad reaction and walked to the police station to ask for help. Then was in the facility at 6:30 am lifting weights. Obviously Goodell's doing, trying to knock out more Patriot players than he already has on the field.

Superb game love Larry Fitz what a great player. Hope Seattle or Arizona can take out the Panthers they are the only team that can beat my Pats.

Brady unquestionable greatest ever 10 AFC Championship game appearances in 14 seasons.

terrific playoff game, easily the best one ive ever watched. never been that emotionally invested in a game where you don't root for either teams lol. hell of a throw but i was definitely butthurt when he caught that fucking hail mary. queue Jessie Pinkman screaming crying all like "HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS".

So, regardless of their loss, that throw by Rodgers just does not exist. Seriously is that objectively the best hail mary ever? I can't believe he did that without witchcraft.

Woah i thought seattle-ites were the most accepting and tolerant of any US city. dont resort to this bullying, words hurt and hold bigger impacts than fists do.

That was a great throw, no doubt, but pretty sure the greatest hail mary of all time was Tom Brady, at 38 years old, diving head first into the end zone for a touch down and getting cracked by two Kansas City defenders instead of just stepping out of bounds. Then getting up and celebrating like nothing happened. Not only the best hail mary of the season, but probably the best play, period.

Also, absolutely remarkable how effectively the NFL and ESPN have swept the whole Peyton Manning HGH thing under the rug. Just incredible watching the treatment of deflategate vs. the Manning thing. Deflategate: The NFL spends 6 months and millions of dollars trying to prove Brady did something wrong and still can't find a shred of evidence. The public's reaction: "well he still did it obviously because he's Tom Brady and a Patriot." HGH Manning: NFL does absolutely nothing, ESPN mentions it once on air at 1 a.m. Public's reaction: "Well Peyton said in a three minute interview he didn't do it, so obviously he didn't do it. Anyone who doesn't believe him and feels they need more proof than that is a scum bag." Just goes to show how differently the Patriots are treated from every other team in the league.

1. I have no idea what play you're referring to, but if he "dove head first" into the end zone, that's not a hail mary.

2. Those aren't equivalent stories, not even close. There's no credibility to the Peyton one. We know deflategate happened, at least.

Thank you for lending credibility to Eheath's comment on Pats fans.

Bogs is a troll, you'll enjoy him much more if you accept that and play along.

Of course they aren't. My point wasn't that they were equivalent stories, my point was the difference in treatment each one has been given by the media and the public. And if you think it has been equal an fair, then you either just haven't paid enough attention to what is going on, are so biased against Brady and the Pats that you can't even recognize said bias, or are just really, really dumb.

This is the hypothetical, generalized "you," of course, not you specifically, JD

Wtf amendola. You're a dick.

Was it a controversial hit? Absolutely. It could've been accomplished much less violently.

The ball is landing inside the 10yd line. By contacting the defender, he gives the ball a chance to bounce into the end-zone. Strategically, it was the right decision, it just didn't have a Patriot bounce.

Please explain to me how the Peyton Manning HGH story holds no weight. An independent news source with no vested interest in Peyton Manning or the NFL claims HGH was shipped to Ashley Manning in the same year Peyton was recovering from a myriad of issues. He then went on to throw 50 TDs the following season. Not to mention, Al Jazeera outed a number of other professional athletes as clients of the Guyer clinic (which has conveniently closed shop). Al Jazeera has recorded confirmation that Charles Sly worked for Guyer during the period in which Manning was a client. There is an abundance of information available outside of this.

This story is deeper than you are leading on. The NFL has a duty to investigate if they are truly as concerned with the "integrity of the game" as they claim to be.

But alas, everyone LOVES Peyton Manning. He is a media darling. He has every broadcaster and analyst in his camp. It is a non-story because ESPN and the NFL have made it a non-story.

I mean the penalty was probably worth it cause it pushed the ball back like 1-2 yds. Still a fucking dirty hit, if that was hockey amendola would've got his ass kicked.

yeah, but it's not hockey. It's football.

If the hit is 6 inches lower, we're not having this discussion. To me, there is a fine line between bang-bang plays like this, and a play where a player clearly targets the head of an opposing player (a la Brandon Merriweather) with the crown of the helmet. If you watch in slow motion, Amendola gets his head across Fleming's body and the brunt of the impact is delivered with the shoulder. It's unfortunate the hit was higher than it needed to be, but one dirty play doesn't make a player dirty.

Fleming is bitching because he got jacked up and his team lost. Drawing comparisons between this and Vontaze Burfict is a stretch, seeing as Burfict is a repeat offender. It was an illegal hit and was penalized as such.

I'm into big hits no doubt, if player doesn't get hurt then more power to them, I don't think amendola is a dirty player, just a dirty play per say. Hundreds of dirty plays get unpenalized every year, its football.

agreed. Dirty hit. It got the penalty. All the Twitter eggs calling for his head can go screw.

go forehead! wooohoooo down deflater!

pretty awesome game to watch. thought for sure brady was going to get that 2pt conversion at the end.
