2014/2015 gear thread

In that picture of the armada park skis, what is in between the ar7 and thall? I'm on mobile and can't see the name on the middle
 
Armada has always been very careful on who sees their product and especially takes pictures of it during SIA so I wouldn't expect much photos of Armadas stuff via SIA. I haven't even been able to get my hands on a catalog because they had some people posting pictures from the catalog last year and they got very upset. My rep was only given 1 so far but next week ill be with him at a demo show and ill get a few catalogs so I can answer questions. Heard its sick tho!
 
Oakley000 you are next level fucking stupid and nobody cares how 'exclusive' you are because you get to see some catalog...
 
Aaahhh another reason to hate Armada.

It's just skis and ski gear, it's just skiing, who in the fuck cares? It's not going to hurt sales, tarnish the brand, or generate more hype by hiding it.

Armada needs to take a not from every other ski company and get over themselves because this time next year it's going to be irrelevant anyways.
 
Certain brands need to generate artificial hype. Armada has certainly jumped the shark. Honestly. If you want a good Armada ski, then buy Atomic.
 
What do you mean, "if you want a good armada ski buy atomic"? I know atomic makes Armadas skis but, why? Armada park skis are top notch.
 
Overpriced for what you're getting.

Not a fan of the way they ski.

Making products too similar to too many others

Too big of a product line, causes confusion, and too many skis for a single demographic, think Toyota.

Also, I love the look of the EG3's and the Smith I/O Sevens, as well as whatever the new Oakley frameless model is(if that ends up coming to retail) and I'll be really excited to see how they compare to my current M2's. I have a reaaaal issue with sweating a lot, which when using a beanie under my helmet actually caused my M2's to have some pretty bad fogging issues, wondering if the airtight seal on the EG3's will solve that.
 
Agreed. Old Armada was great, original ar6, pipe cleaner, and t halls were awesome.

They went to Capwall construction on almost every ski and have no ski that really grabs out to me as an "I need that ski"

I've ridden a bunch of their newer stuff and it's just meh
 
In my opinion Saga has gone completely downhill in the past few years. These oversized logos covering half of the jacket look fucking stupid in my opinion. Less is more.
 
Well I snuck into sia when they were in copper today and here ate my thoughts on skis. The atomic belencher new tech tip stuff is kinds bull Shit on my opinion. Tips and tails ate super thick and they just tock a wee bit of the thickness off. My opinion total bs.

There is no amarda halo or in this year. The halo has been turned into a Phil cadabon pro model. Armada stuff looks tight.

Line , nothing has really changed . Cronics are the same as the past two Years same graphics .

On3p stuff looks beyond amazing super keen to demo some stuff from them.

K2 no longer has kungfujas.
