2013-2014 gear

Well, this is your original message.

I am amazed buy your logic. You mean to say that the boot is somehow less of an pro model because it's black? Well at least now it seems like it. Designing a boot doesn't necessarily mean that u draw the graphs on it. Tj came to Nordica with the specs and looks he wants from a boot, and Nordica made it. ----> TJ Pro model.

And for example, how is Full Tilt's B&E-boot somehow more creative and amazing as an pro model, it's just black and yellow?

did I ever say I found that more creative or amazing?

I know what my original message was. also, I by know at last know that TJ designed what is in the boot, ok I agree with you in that point.

but you're always stamping me as if I said "omgzzzzzz 111111ELVENE!!!11111 B&E boot is so fucking special awesome and was so unpredictable how it looked!!!!!"...

The old STH's will still be around though. These new ones are the STH2 WTR's and they have a wider hole mount pattern for fat skis. I love their 'styling' though. But like you said that doesn't matter.

Anybody know what the new Armada AR7's look like? Only one picture of the new Armada lineup and I have no idea which ski is which

According to Dakine's twitter, their Skyline Mitt won the showstopper award this year.... Anyone got any info on it? I need a new pair of mittens

googled it, came up with this info from skinet.com:

"The new Dakine Skyline Mitt blends hardcore warmth with digital functionality. The mitt keeps your hands toasty, but has easy zip access to an inner glove with touch-compatible tips for easy use with phones—and cameras, for instance. We're told that the design was inspired by professional mountain photographers, who spend hours standing in the backcountry, but need fully functioning fingers to do their jobs. That sounds like a bunch of our ski days."

saga x full tilt

I don't know if it has been posted

I'll probably get a pair in a different color. But those look exactly like a pair of candygrinds my brother had a few seasons ago. Park gloves on the inside with a zipper along the index finger of the mittens.... Wonder if the guys at dakine every ran into a pair of those

I don't know if anyone has noticed. But I saw Gus Kenworthy with a new pair of atomic bindings. They look like a really solid high din binding. Anyone have any info? You can see a bit of one in his recent edit he put out.

Atomic STH2 (probably 16). Atomic has decided to share the name with Salomon.

See top of the page for discussion on that.

Most helpful reply ever. You sir, are a champion. Where did you find that? My google skills are pretty tight and I couldn't come up with that after a solid 10 minutes. Is the rest of the lineup listed somewhere?

yes on page 31 the whole catalog site link is on there towards the bottom in blue and if you need more pics if you cant find it let me know i have many pics

Swany's Norse Toaster is the same sort of deal and I love it. So easy to 'layer' these mitts to. Spring park and urban stuff I just wear the mitt shell, cold days I wear the mitts and their glove liner, and for REALLY cold days I put on my glove liner's 'vests' which are socks cut off at the heel and a hole cut in them for the thumb.

Whats going on with the Salomon Ghost boot. Did it evolve into the Ghost Max or did it just disappear in wake of the new QUEST MAX BC...

could be but you know it's going to be heavier than it needs to be, anyone know if the shreditor 102 is just the Kung Fujas? K2 are stepping it up but hopefully they've changed the construction up a little to lose some weight! Are you trying to replace your Bacons?

Yes the 102 is practically the same specs as the kung fujas, maybe a little softer flex and probably lighter too.

yeah they're just a bit stiff for my liking. i'm thinking blends, but i won't be able to buy a pair for a couple years. im still riding the 400+ day lizzies for heavy park riding.

k2's are pretty heavy? haven't held a pair in a long time

Rumor at sia was that the nightmahre isn't going to be produced for the public, shreditor 120 will be the widest jib ski from k2 in the foreseeable future.

If Bacons are too stiff Blends are definitely gonna be soft enough. I'm on Blends this season and I reckon they are too soft, personally I liked the Bacons better but it is nice to have a lighter ski. K2s are a bit on the heavy side for sure, heaviest I've skied, not that it actually makes that much difference. If you're still riding the Lizzies, couldn't you sell the Bacons and pick up some Blends end of season for not much more? Next years rasta ones look pretty weak I reckon so this year's are the best anyway.

yeah i'm really considering selling them but they're just such an awesome all around ski, especially at high speeds. im just stuck in minnesota on 200ft vertical hills for the next couple years so something a bit softer or easier to flex at low speeds is what i need.

i skied my old lizzies today and they're just so much damn fun around here.

Did anyone see the Marker Lord binding? Specifically designed for the ones that want to use touring boots in regular bindings.
