2013-2014 gear

On TGR I think that they were suggesting that it wouldn't be as much as the new Beasr from Dynafit at $1000, but it would be more than the Radical at $499. Pretty disappointing I thing if that's true. The entire tech segment if the market is exploding and companies are asking too much for the msrp. In a few years it will come back down to normal I hope.

i think it's about taste, the new boots all look pretty cool, I'm happy i got this years booter though, the new ones look cool but I like the fun, funky and comic style boot much more than the one that looks like theres blood running down them...

Tech setups in general are so expensive. You need the bindings, second pair of boots with fittings, a light ski, and second set of bringings with inserts if you ever want to ski them inbounds.

does this mean they are discontinuing their new addition to this years line up of the step? as i have a pair and think they are a great ski. admittedly the difference between ledge and step is only that the step has carbon stringers and they could easily drop the step and just put the stringers in the new ledge. the graphics are really clean cut and purdy.

Yes, those are next season's Punx.

In my opinion, the topsheet graphic looks a lot worse than this season's. If I were to get a pair of Punx based solely on the topsheet graphic, then I'd go for this season's.

ya last years/current looked so good but do you know if they added anything or is it just new graffic

We are getting the new Punx this week, in the shop where I work. Will take some pictures if they come before I go to Austria.. The rumor says that they got rocker next year.

because line and full tilt prefer their catalogues not be released to the public yet. they ask that you respect their request and refrain from posting the catalog if you've somehow managed to get your hands on one, or you've found a leak online.

i know they are pros sorry dude, reading fail, i scanned and saw the words jester and pro...

no problem dude just a mistake ! i just wanna see the jesters becuase im ethier getting the new jesters or the new rossi fks 140

is it just me or is every ski getting a rocker? like in eeeeeevery thread about next years stuff and about every old or new ski you read "gonna have rocker"... this the new big deal? of course, gonna be floaty, but one day every ski will look like a full positive camber powder ski hahaha...

if you could i would love you for ever becasue i need new skis next year and wanna get either this years or next years punx, also if there is any new stuff.

less catchy for switch jumps and on rails I guess, but I'm asking myself the same thing all the time, too... my rockerless, traditional camber skis serve me totally fine except that they're stiff as fuck and not really durable (suspects, but what do you expect...)

also look bindings. looks like they are making a touring binding like the guardian (possibly rebranded?) and a tech binding like dynafits.

in answer to my own question, if anybody is interested, theyre not dropping the step after only a year of production. here it is:

thall goggles/skis are ugly, armada skis are ugly, full tilt boots are ugly-.-

man, and I was really excited for some cool stuff for next year since I will have some money by then to maybe get some new stuff instead of budget deals... whatever, getting this years stuff as sale in summer as usual, much better deal haha... only the armada camo stuff really attracts me, see how it's gonna come out...

Look did rebrand the Guardian/Tracker, and the tech bindings from Look are a rebranded Plum, not Dynafit. Look didn't innovate a single thing in that picture, with the exception of the now 25 year old FKS's. Time to step up your game Look.

does anybody know when armada changes this years ski prices to the lower prices because of the next years skis? like what time of year end of summer?

Loving next years drop kicks. Super clean look. I'd love some pictures of next years punx. Espcially if they have a rocker.

can someone explain the whole dynafit thing? so much hype about them and they look like i dont even know not bindings though i dont see how you could put a boot in that. yes i know im a bc/ touring noob but im seriously dumbfounded on how the whole touring setups work

Dynafit pioneered using two "towers" with these pins that lock in to the toes of the boots with these inserts. You'll notice that touring boots (not all, but most) have these metal inserts at the toe box. This allows the boot to be locked into the front but not the back when skinning uphill. There are also two pins, although they work much differently in the back, which lock the heel in place when skiing downhill after the skin up. Watch this ::
