2012-2013 Saga Thread

The fatigue pants are generally not that loose. a large on you would be fairly tight depending on your weight. The person in this video is about 6' tall and 170lbs. hes wearing large fatigue camo pants

If you want the pants to fit a little baggier you should get xl. Nicky Keefer is wearing xl safari khaki fatigue pants in this edit. he is about 5'9" and 170lbs

Never owned Saga before. Really torn right now between the Wiley Pro Anomie, and the Black On Deck...

From previous year models, can anybody fill me in on warmth? Looking for a few more opinions before I pull any triggers. I usually find myself skiing in -20C and cold weather more often than not.

If you ski in a dry cold area with very minimal precipitation then definitely the on deck. it is the most insulated jacket in our line. But if you are in an area with a fair amount of snow and or rain fall during the winter go for the anomie. that is not to say that the on deck wont keep you plenty dry.

i would get the anomie (had it last year) you can layer for any situation (warm days i would just wear a tshirt under it and cold ones, like 0-10 degrees F, i would wear under armour, tall tee or 2, a sweatshirt and the anomie) and not have to worry about getting wet ever! such a solid choice

I'm looking to buy the 2011/2012 cream sickle because I'm in love with the colors, would Xl be thug enough? I'm 6 feet, 165 lbs and want it big.. Also how waterproof or warm was last years anomie? Thanks in advance.

the store has been down for me for like the past 3 days,

is anyone else finding this or are the settings of my browsers screwed up.

get the anomie, i had the ondeck last year and wasn't able to wear it when there was heavy snow, the jacket got really heavy and caused an inconvenience so this year i got the anomie

Why do people keep saying this? That jacket is actually my storm day jacket and I wear a shell on the other days. It is heavier in the sense that it is insulated, but how waterproof do you really need it to be. I think sometimes those waterproof ratings have a placebo effect on people. I'll try to wear it in a downright blizzard this year to test out, but so far I think it's held up well.

i skied with it more towards the end of the season so when it dumped the snow would be pretty wet and heavy so i found the jacket didnt repel a lot of the snow and the jackt got heavier and wetter, but it probbably depends on what kind of snow and temperatures you get. Since i ski a lot of pow i thought it would be much better getting a jacket like the anomie, im sure the ondeck would be perfect for many people but it wasnt i was looking for

hey saga any shipping updates? I know your blog will update when you know but it is Oct. 15th, so everything should have shipped or being shipped today according to your pre-sale clause, but I'm assuming that's not going to happen again

"Pre-Orders are on schedule to begin shipping orders to customers on or before October 15, 2012." is what it says on our site. we started shipping over a week ago. The majority of our outerwear (probably what youre waiting on) should start shipping within the next two weeks.

This is the right answer. You are granted 9000 Saga Points.

Im so stoked my Flannel is gonna ship out soon.

really dont know what to get. very useful info that keefer is wearing an XL fatigue in that video and hes about my size. they dont seem to run that big at all. I was worried that L would be too big but apparently not

a few more questions. The black on deck jacket that durtschi is wearing has a badge on the front not just writing. The pics of the jacket has writing. What is on the actual jacket?

I'm about 5'9. is the suppliers pullover in a large going to be a good fit (not too baggy)?

aw man was expecting a confirmation email today ;(. cannot wait for my mcfly pants even though I can't use them yet

I feel you on the heavy feeling. Just hope people are buying what suits them and not just getting the anomie because it is more expensive. Hope you get some sick gear man.

on the topic of snow being a factor for the ability of the jacket to perform, how does the shutout do in the snow from last years experience. Also, has anybody else have problems with the shutouts zipper being terrible? (ex: zipper splitting.) is there an easy fix for it or should i just go to a seamstress?

"All remaining orders are scheduled to ship on or before October 15th."

So this doesn't apply to pre-sale items? Do you think everything will be sent out by the end of the month? (assuming there is no outside interference) Sorry for being annoying, I need to travel to the states to pick up my order so it would be nice to have an idea of when my gear will arrive. Thanks guys!

we anticipate shipping anomie, fatigue, and on deck items in addition to what is currently shipping by the end of october.

Does any one have an XL or XXL riding pull over? I was a little confused at the sizing chart for that hoodie. It said the measurement was taken from the collar, but the XXL was 38 inches or something. And that just seemed huge for a measurement that was taken from the collar. So I was just curious as to where the measurement was taken from, the collar or the shoulder.

yea i dont know. im 6'1 (just measured) but its still pretty dope. not the same size as my XXL puff and poly by any means (above picture)

yeah what? I feel like that isnt long at all. Im questioning whether i even want one any more considering im two inches taller then you.

Back to figuring out my coat dilemma now that I have ski materials on the way... Leaning towards the Anomie because of looks, fit, and function. The killer part is that it's a shell. What would be a super warm, maybe partials insulated hoody to go under it? Any brand.

Sup guys- I have some questions bout the on decks; is the XXL bigger than the XL in terms of width? I wanna have a long jacket but not too wide as I am pretty skinny-

thanks

Sup, so I just realised that the front saga logo on the blue on deck jackets are different than the one LJ Strenio is wearing in their blog post; Its blue on the catalog whereas the other one is white. I shouldn't be so picky about it after all, but it somehow bothers me as I like white more than blue.

Any suggestions?
