another 2012 with the same shitty quality probably and a different top sheet and base. when will salomon ever step their game up?

Honestly? Have you even tried out some of the products that you thrash i.e) Surface? I doubt it. You got your info about them from your friends who ride no times. oh and PS: They already have rocker on them so your friend is talking out of his ass about the whole them being rockered after 4 days of use.
 
have you rode 2012's?

they are the fucking sickest skis ive ever ridden, and ive rode alot of skis. mine are holding up great, better than my freinds suspects. there is nothing wrong with their bases. and they did step their game up. fuck you. only suspects have shitty durabitity? have you seen a thread on this website with somone complaining their 2012's have broke? no. its only suspects. jesus
 
Wrong, all Salomon skis with edge armor, such as threats, have had quality issues. The threats have less edge armor (single woven instead of double I believe), so it might be less of an issue in them.
 
2012's are a great ski. superrr fun. those and my blue steeles are by far my favorite park skis ive ridden.

however, salomons edges tend to not be very good
 
Well I've skied them and I hate them since I used my friend's no times and i took 3 park laps and I checked the edges, an edge crack is what I find.
 
Lots of skis get edge cracks. Rail damage tends to happen to mostly park skis. Its either a manufacturer defect or you just slam skis on rails/boxes really fucking hard.

WTF is up with the bbr? Not feeling that ski at all.
 
Well obviously. I guess since I'm not shredding BC lines, I shouldn't be skiing, right? Maybe I should just pull a bryan gallant and quit it all together.
 
I saw the BBRs in person at the Deep Powder House in Alta the other day and they perplexed me so much that I had a chill conversation with the store owner (manager?) about them. Apparently they were shaped by the same guy who did the Salomon X-Scream AK Rocket from years ago. That ski had (still has?) a cult following so they decided to produce this ski in limited quantities. It's totally intended for the older powder hound market. I can't recall the exact dimms of the ski bit the waist is super narrow and it sure looked like a 10 year old ski. Good luck Salomon on that one.
