1976 vs 2006

Scenario: Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his

knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.

1976 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.

2006 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job.

She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

and that is definantly false.
 
um i was 12, and i said nothing about a lawsuit, i said file charges, as in sexual harrasment. the teacher and a student both threatened me. my parents had to come in and talk to the principal, i dont know how an adult threatining me with criminal charges is getting what i deserved. its not like i said fuck niggers our something, i made a harmless stupid unfunny kid joke and everyone flipped out
 
Filing charges is an indictment which leads to a lawsuit. I could sue you for anything like being an idiot, doesn't mean I'll win. I think you're bullshitting this whole story personally, I'm getting fed up with claimers. A grown-up would understand you can't file a sexual harrasment charge because you said 'el fako la breasto' or some shit, and you didn't say it towards the 12 year old so there is no reason she could file charges against you. I could go into a kindergarten and say fuck and there wouldnt be a thing they could do about it except get me off their property.
 
i was just talking about this with a friend of mine about how fucked up society is. all of this shit being able to sue people for no reason and all of these stupid charges are so gay

ex: urban sports...wherever, probably in europe, these videos have been filmed

you're ignorant there buddy. You must have no common sense. If you take asprin to school, ecspecially not in original container you will most def get in trouble. Everything else just makes sense, if a kid acts up nowadays automatically they have ADD.
 
You might get IN TROUBLE if you take an aspirin, not get expelled. And I never said anything about ADD thats one of the few I might agree with.

This is obviously satirical, but most of these cases have already taken place at least once, which is freakin' crazy.

About the child abuse one for example, I know someone who one day was walking around with his baby in Boulder, CO. They walked above a highway overpass, and started watching cars, because that's the kind of stuff that makes babies laugh... Anyways, they walk the rest of the way on the overpass, and when they get to the other side, a police car is waiting there. In the span of 3 minutes, 5 people had called the police, saying that he was holding his baby above the highway. What the Fuck? Of course he wasn't. The cop then goes on about how the baby is not properly attached with the safety belt in the stroller. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS ALREADY! He then gets home, and a 1/2 hour later, the FUCKING social services come at the door. Parenting classes required, for nothing obviously. 2 weeks later, article published about him in the Denver Post. He was not contacted by the newspaper obviously.

Now tell me these examples are not relevant...
 
That may be true but 'watching cars on a highway overpass because it makes babys laugh' doesn't exactly sound like the best story to a cop that has witnesses saying he was holding the baby over the edge. And personally if I saw somebody on an overpass and I thought that he was dangling it over the edge I'd probably call the cops too.
 
so you'd just assume he had the intent to drop his baby on the highway just because he was on an overpass? You sound like a dude from the FCC... I guess he deserved getting humiliated by social services and the denver post for doing that...
 
If a guy had a gun pointed at somebody I'd ASSUME he was going to shoot him but I really wouldn't know for sure. If you saw somebody holding a baby over a bridge you wouldn't do anything? and say he drops the baby, and you knew you could have done something to stop it.

guess shits different in the states...none of that shit ever happens here. hell ive gotten tylenol from my principal. he doesnt give a rats ass. people get caught sellin drugs and they get a 3 day suspension and the cops dont come. americas fucked.

Yeah, sooo laid back when JFK, RFK, MLK all got assisinated, there was a severe threat of nuclear war, Riots in every city when MLK was killed, KSU shooting, and Vietnam. Sooo laid back.
 
and now were in a war in Iraq and Afghanastan that we cant win. America is hated by everybody. Not to mention terriorism and global warming. Soooo much better then fightning for civil rights and fightning for peace i dont know about you but protesting sounds much better then just letting all this shit happen.
 
We HAVE won in Afghanistan, the Vietnam war claimed tons more lives then Iraq has, I'd rather have everybody hate us then our country divided by race, and Global Warming isn't incredibly dangerous hell we're not even positive it's happening on such a large scale. We're fighting for a time where we don't have to worry about somebody blowing up the subway, running a car full of explosives into your house, or hijacking planes and crashing them into your buildings, we have already won Civil Rights and if you believe there will ever be peace sad to say you'll be dissapointed.

2006- People get all serious and argue online about whether or not the joke is really accurate or not.

Its a joke its not meant to be completely accurate, but what makes it funny is that the general idea of how shit is changing is accurate.

2006 - BATF, Homeland Security, FBI called. Johnny charged with

domestic terrorism, FBI investigates parents, siblings removed from

home, computers confiscated, Johnny's Dad goes on a terror watch list

and is never allowed to fly again.
