dude I don't know what you are talking about, long skis are amazing because they are good for landing, think about the advantages of skis over snowblades. Also, it depends on what kind of turning you want to do, large arc gs turns, which I view to be more fun, or short radius, slalom turns. Just because people don't turn once ever 6 inches doesn't mean they don't know how to ski. If you are a good skier you'll enjoy longer skis because they are more stable at high speeds. I love the dudes who show up to the park over 5'6" and have junior twins because they think short skis will help you spin faster. the difference in swing weights doesn't add up a whole lot with skis being mounted more foreward. The invaders are symmetrical and made to be center mounted. The benifits of a long ski on a landing far outweigh any spinning potential with shorter skis.
