1 ski company youd never buy?

probably 9thward. they're attitude, marketing, and gangster image doesn't appeal to me. who said line and why? i like line because i know the invader delam was a total fluke. the angle of the tips was wrong and created vibrations that the ski couldn't withstand. they're stuff is quality and they're always innovating. plus even if they were bought out by k2 they still started as a small company in my town, burlington, which i like. k2 will solely provide them with the financial backing that they lacked so they can continue to make excellent products.

salomon and rossi...

cause thier skis are the exact same every fucking year.

They never change.

boo to that.

I know my answer but I don't want to trash anybody.  Rhymes with Biverty. I don't want to hate on any companies supporting freeskiing. They have non-bomber quality. Each company deserves to be ridden and tried and conclusions drawn from there. Way to stiff, with no life. So therefor I'm not hating on anyone.

Liberty. They might have better skis now adays, but they gave themselves a bad name from the start, and I just wouldn't trust spending a lot of money on a pair of skis from a company that has had a bad past. Plus, I've found a ski company that I'm going to stick to because I have no reason to buy from another ski company. :)

yeah I didnt make any judgement until i rode them... waaaaaaaaay too stiff, you might as well take a piece of wood, put a base and topsheet on it and call them biverties

and they completly delamed on my friend 2 days after he bought them, got a new pair and 3 days later they were ripped apart again

line, ninth ward, liberty, and marker. everything else is good imho well id give them a shot atleast

umm rossi makes their shit fatter all the time, and made the wrs technology this year. and salomon completely redid the 1080 and created the thruster last year and now they've created the spk AND dumonts. what the deuce are you talking about? oh and the guns are different too.

If I had to pick one I guess it'd be bivertie just becuase they're a lot of money for something that hasn't really proven itself yet. and volkl just because of price.

Oh and boo hating on lines. The chronic has always been such a solid ski that gets no respect. They are also always tyrin to step it up with freeskiing technologies, like with the invader, lizzies/bacons, yadda yadda. And they have the most solid prices of pretty much every ski company except k2 which they're pretty much tied with.

nordica because theyre just really gay skis

surface- sicks skis but just way too emo for me. i cant stand it. no offense to them though, keep wearing your girlpants!

I'd be open to riding any company, they all make sweet skis as far as I'm concerned. Maybe some companies are better then others, but I wouldn't single them out and say I'd never buy from them.

Ninthward - i would never trust this company if i had a warranty issue, they have proven to be a joke as a business

Salomon - too much foam and cap construction

Right now I'm only a lil hesitent to ride Salomon. Not because there skis aren't sick, but the foam core on my PRs really didn't have the longevity I was seeking from a ski that cost that much. The ski lost its camber, and though still rides hard, but is not quite as agile as I would like. I think I'm sticking to wood cores. But unless you see a technical reason to not ski most ski I'd give them a chance.

ive never demod a pair of liberties yet, but now i want too just to see if theyre as shitty as everyones saying

I'm no pro nor anti 9th guy...but I do know for a fact when a certain someone dialed a certain someones 9thward official phone number the phone was answered "ninthward..what?!"

the question should probably be "what other ski company besides liberty would you not buy?"

4frnt obviously.

to all these fucks hating on the 9, if you'd ever hung out with any of the people working for 9ward, you wouldn't be talking shit like this. At least for Switzerland they are the most real, passionate skiers who do everything for the sport and their riders. Just because they're not like you doesn't mean they're bad.

For now, I'm not buying Armada, until Roman gets fired as head of Armada Europe. Their european operation sucks ball and I'm not supporting it, no matter how sick their skis are.

ok let one wigged out experience ruin it for you. try talking to them as a company. talk to campbell. or keep drinking your NS produced hateraid on ninthward. im like captain j crew/ classy ns/ lacoste, white bread indiana kid, so its not their image that attracts me obviously. its their company, which ive delt with, and their products. their well produced products. because vick flipped off the fans, will i not watch the atlanta falcons? no. letting their image/riders/whatever deter you isnt wise. they are a great company that deserves way more recognition than they are given because of the teen/pre-teen bandwagon jumpers and fill this site with threads about how they hate 9th. i like you, im not saying you are stupid or inferior, but really im just stating my opinion on 9th, and recommend you look past some of their less desirable characteristics and see what they do offer. give them a chance. they are the ugly puppy at the kennel, but you know that that little guy is really the best pick. (ok, close to the best pic)
