09 EHP?

I'm looking at picking up a pair of powder sticks for next season and since the graphic on next year's EHP are super sick i'm considering them. In the SIA gear preview they say that the EHP is completely redesigned and I was wondering if anyone knows the specs for this ski (flex, dimensions etc).

Thanks

you're a fuckin idiot, you should take whatever sticks you get and shove them up your ass. buying a ski for its graphic has to be the dumbest shit i've ever heard

chill out bro, he just asked about the ski and stated that he liked the graphic and that was and up. im making a wild assumtion that he asked about the flex and all that because he needs to know more about the ski before lays down the cash for em

yeah so i rode them the other day. the 186. i believe that there is also goning to be a 193 and either 190 or 178 some one else know for sure. anyways they are a sick stick if you like stiff skis. not too heavy and small rocker on the tip and tail so pretty good in the pow. took a bit to get used to the sidecut on groomers but still skiable all mountian if your comfortable with a fat ski every where. but ya the biggest thing about them is they are a fairly stiff ski so don't expect to be buttering all over the mountain however you can for sure be stompin 30' plus cliffs no problems so really it comes down to what type of skier you are.

What are your body stats?

What type of skiing do you do? Park? Big Mountain?

The EHP is THE big mountain ski, and each length is different.

Sure, the graphic is sick, it looks like a fucking Pilsner can.

But are you able to handle it?

I'm 5'9" 160. Pretty Strong skier. I've been riding anthems this year and love em' but i'd like a fatter ski for pow days. I'll be using my pow skies for mostly trees, some bc, and cliffs (nothing major probably nothing over 25ft). I usually don't spin more than a 3 when I'm landing in pow so i guess that'll effect what ski i chose. Also I'm not that stoked on charging... would i be better off going with something softer like bacons?

if you've been riding anthems and like the softness then defintally go with bacon's or hellbents if you really want rockered. but ya don't go with the Ehp cuz you won't enjoy them as much as the bacon's or bents.

Bump does anybody have any pictures of the rocker and or info on the dimensions of the 193. I've heard they've changed em up for next year

Hey, so ive actually ridden these, soooooo first off whoever said that the ski was the big mountain charge tool should note that that is only the case in the 193 or whatever the longer length was. I have ridden the 186 and the 179 (basically a shorter version of the 186) and they are more of a tree and steeps ski. One of the more fun skis ive ever ridden, they are solid underfoot and in the tail but the rockered part in the tip is fairly soft, similar to the tip in the vct, maybe softer. they are super surfy with the moderate side-cut and hold carves very well with the solid tail that isnt a twin. That said, it isnt a twin, there is some tail rocker, so you could go off a stomped take-off switch but i didnt have the balls to hit a jump switch or land. the absence of a twin does help it in non-switch performance, as it wont release the carve until you want it to and you feel way more solid stomping landings. I think its a great tree ski for someone who skis variable conditions and isnt extremely held with the idea of switch riding.
