Demoed the 08 Bacon. And if you're skiing anything else but pow; forget it. I tried them on spring slushed groomers and they were the worst things ever attatched to my feet.

Nope, that one is called the Il Moro, and it's got two lower buckles and a rachet strap closure for the top and comes with an ID liner, really sick looking...might pick them up next year depending on how they fit. Here's a thread I started on the Il Moro, it has pics and some chatter:

I think the new Rampage looks pretty ghey though, white, brown and black just don't go together.

I’ve put my hands on new Armadas today at shop, there were AR6, T-Hall, JP, El Rey and Cantica.

El Rey (178) seems to be very fun to ski on, they are really light, almost Jon Olsson Pros (178) light like, noticeably lighter than AR6 (181). They also felt stiffer than AR6 overall, but with the same flex pattern (tail softer than tip). I’d say they have Big Trouble (186) like flex, touch softer. The only thing I didn’t enjoy in them is somewhat fragile feeling due to the cap construction with edges, which stick out from the sidewall quite a bit.

JPs felt noticeably stiffer than my 05-06 ones, still weight like nothing.

Of course, hand flexing won’t tell you much but i think it could be helpful for someone.

 
Get over making fun of ninthward because thats what everyone does.

If you had any idea of how hard it is to start a ski company you would seriously shut up.

They are sick skis and next year i'm getting rory pros.

Although if something happened to you about their whole shipping ordeal it would be a different thing.
 
those high society's look awesome but its kinda lame that they are just using the same design as this year and putting color on it. why didnt they just put in a little extra effort and come up with something new?

actually, ninthward can create an affordable ski for the younger age groups all at the same time tapping into their obsession with the rasta culture because they think because they smoke weed it entitles them to use rasta colours. thats cool and all, but when you take your ritalin in the morning remember that isn't very rasta of you.
 
i saw some 07-08 skis today at snowbird... i saw the new rossignol BC's, they look like a one hit wonder graphic wise.. to many colors. and i saw the new TM's, they are sick and the BT's the are pretty plane but sick.
 
i like how we've seen actual pictures of next years 9ths and everyone just believes MattyB when he photoshops his own ninthward graphics, and says that theyre next years. he is making a joke people. remember the pic he posted of the rasta nick greener bases that dont exist. Funny graphics and shit, but come on people... he gave it away some where around the foam core capped construction.
 
Are you retarded? I am getting these designs right from Nithward. Why would I make my own and say that they are? If you haven't seen my other posts I have posted every ski from Ninthward for next year. Yea I bet I photoshopped and made all of those too? Oh and I'm so good at photoshop that I made a real life picture of the Nick Greeners. Explain that. Learn your facts before you say shit.
 
Yes, it's the AR3, but yes, they're canceled. Armada will make a cheaper junior ski with c(r)ap construction. Don't know why. Should I buy a junior ski, I would not buy Armada this year. I've got the old AR3, but they are... dead. I think I'm going for next years THALL. They look amazing.
 
man those rampages look so dope, but I have a question. I guess my foot is pretty medium in width and I was wondering what would be better for it: the rampage (narrow) or the spk (wide)?
 
and yes I know I should just go try them on but one store carries one and another store in a different city carries the other so I might as well go to the one I think will fit best first. and im just wondering what other peoples personal experiances are when it comes to these boots.
 
Neither. There's more than boots out there. If your foots medium, and the boots are 2 extremes, one wide and one narrow, then get fitted and you'll end up with a boot you've never seen but it'll fit. Go to the shop that has the best reputation for boot fitting, and instead ask to get fitted rather then to try a specific boot.
 
thats pretty much the truth, i do a bit of fitting at my shop and youll either be in pain with a too narrow boot, or ski like shit with one that is too wide
