07/08 Ski Picture Thread

actually dumbshit the new dukes and jesters are fucking awesome!

they no longer have that toe bevel issue that casued pre-mature toe release

 
idk i'll try the new marker design before i say shit about it. all i know is when i rode the titanium 12.0 or something it wasn't bad, but if you ride too hard, and your ski catches on the snow your fucked when you most need your ski to help you stay up and stay on.

and the toe reminds me of the pivogy from Line. so yea, just wait and see, definately excited about weight/performance.

 
are you crazy? You must be super spoiled then. I use them as my only ski and love them. They carve better than any park or mid-fat ski I've owned (PE, AR5 and AR6, Scratchs, ARVs). Of course a super fat ski isn't great on spring slush... however, I rode them in 65 degree east coast slush and still had an absolute blast messing around. I'd recommend them to anyone who is a good skier and doesn't mind putting in the work. Clearly they are heavy because they are so big, so spinning isn't ideal, but hey, that is the draw back.
 
i really hate to say it since i love salomon but there graphics this year on a lot of models (ie foils) are love it or hate it...and so far i'm not loving them

why is this alive?

the only reason i see for this thread to be resurected it to discuss products that people might not have information on.

but as i see it, i predict a noob will just come along and post his new skis.
