I skied the El Rays the other day.. That was a very fun ski. More side-cut then any ski from Armada. Very stable for a cap ski even at super high speeds.
I'm almost 200lbs and there was no chatter.
I could rip that ski just as good as my pipe cleaners. It is a easier ski to ski, does more turning for you than anything else in the line.
It is designed to be a PRICE POINT ski for someone that can't throw down for a AR6 or a $500 ski. It is also designed for that progressing intermediate that could use some help with turns...
The El Ray could be one of my fav skis in the Armada line. A good mix of park and all mountain. I'll still be skiing the AR6, PC's & JJs, but for a $350 ski I think it rips!!!
I'm not to fond of the graphic, but it is clean and safe for anyone. It has the battleship on it, Armada means a fleet of battleships, which they have never put on a ski before...
Have you skied them? I can see if you dont like the graphic, but to say the ski is crap or "not that great" with out skiing it is messed up.
