07/08 Ski Picture Thread

Ok...soo im going to try and translate for all you guys. The first ski is an all mountain newb ski pretty much. Cap construction, pretty strong flex, very light with a mounting point farther back. He also said its going to be pretty cheep...400 euros ( i don't really think thats cheep at all). Pretty much a direct competetitor to the silencer, Fuji, and Invader.

Next ski is ARG aka" La Gorda." Pretty much the same ski as last year.

the third ski is the ARW. The base is directly taken from the AR6. He doesn't talk about the ski too much, just says they are more girlly this year.

the fourth ski is the ARG, its going to be stiffer then this years model, but torsional regidity is going to be softer ( i have no idea how they are going to pull that off).

 
You mean the 4th ski is the ARV? thought so.

And the only change to the ARG for next year is a faster base. (Which I wish I had on mine, damn!)
 
yeah my bad.....Ohh on the K2 the white ski that everybody has been talking about is just a girls silencer. The ski with the skulls and the reaper is the hellbent and are really promoting the "rocker" tips/tails.
 
400 euros=about $510, how can that compete with fuji's, silencers, invaders, etc? That's how much the AR6 costs. Persoanlly I don't want armada to make a ski to compete with them, part of their image are all these expensive high ends skis, in which you get the quality you pay for. I dunno

like almost a fancy word for negative camber, but only in the tails and tips. Sort of weird how it works.
 
oh man the ANT graphics are gay! I totally thought it was the girls ski until i saw the length.

The thalls are probably one of the best graphics ever though.
 
yeah ant looks lame, but the thalls do too imo. boring. I really like the arv and ar6s. I wish i had waited a year to buy my arvs, theyre too soft this year.
 
damn. thats cool/stupid. those spacing gaps go 5cm, 8cm, 2cm?!?, 5cm. wtf is there a 74 and 76 length? gouldnt they just settle on 175?
 
^ Do a search. It's been explained way too many times. Even go back a couple pages and you'll find it.

I love the AR6s and the fish topsheet ARVs. And I really love the race bases on like all of their skis. Especially the ARGs, which I wish I had on mine.

I believe those graphics on the ANTs are one of Anthony's own drawings again (after he didn't make it this year) but the JPs are only so-so. The 05/06 JP still has one of the sickest graphics ever laid down on skis.
 
Am i the only one who think the EL Rays are going to be caca. I just think the graphic is crap, and the ski is not that great.
 
I have no idea how they thik those AR6's are going to sell they look like kids skis, And the ANT is preety EMO, and the rest of the skis are nothing special either. over all I would say Armada has been going down graphic wise from 2 years ago.
 
well i guess we will find out how good armada is if there skis dont look as sweet as in past years, lets all jump on the cool graphics bus
