07/08 Ski Picture Thread

this is what the full ski looks like

there is a line in the dead centre of the ski, perhaps the mounting mark? Perhaps and invader-like ski from armada..possibly symetrical. This is all specualtion.

ehh, the jon olsson pro models could've been better if he was putting a hot chick on it. Could've made a full body shot instead of just the head on both ends
 
To show me how good I really am go through and erase the quotations...unless the quote is vital information like "the skis name is this and it's this big and this well made"

...but if it's shit like "omg ewz thos are ugly" delete that shit quick.

there called the LTD, and there is rumors that they are going to replace one of the present armada skis. As far as I know its still undecided, il let you guys know more when I find it out.

and as for how I got the pic of it, well I cant tell you that. All I can say is a reliable armada source sent the pic to me. As for whats going on with it at the production stage i cant say cause I dont know. Right now its a proto type
 
Keep them coming. If I encounter some new skis at a happening place such as Big Mtn, MT, I will post them. But don't get your hopes up.
 
the top half of the trouble makers are kinda ugly but the bottom half are all purple and pink and green and kinda cool looking, thought they were the new armadas AR6's at first
 
the armadas look very sick, im not a huge fan of the heads but they look alright. and is the mythic rider a replacement for the 8800 maybe?
 
That would be my guess too.

The pipe cleaners this year seem kinda like a test run for a new ski like last years lizzies. Now that armada has seen that everybody likes them they will probably bring them up to full production. The name change would help people see them as more than a one trick pony.
 
i duno, from what iv been hearing out of armada the ltd, if it does go to full production is spose to replace a ski, but im not sure which one. Most likely its the pipe cleaners but there is some speculation that the arv is going to replaced.
 
It is a tip protector like on the Dynastar Legend 8800 and Legend Pro Rider.

Judging by the pic, the Mythic Rider looks like the dimensions of the 8800 (89mm waist). Tip profile is the similar as well. It's probably a graphics refresh of the Legend 8800, which is just the Inspired Big, same ski since 2002 I think.
