Its not a shop. Its "Swesportmässa" in sweden. Its like a happening where they show off their skis. It is where they first are officially released, according to www.freeride.nu
I know they have different graphics. I don't care. It doesn't matter that the leather cowboy ones are a pro model. Yes, they are different, but is the CONSTRUCTION or flex, or anything besides the way they look different?
my guess is that they have a couple different flex's and two different shapes probably a womans and a mens shape, and then different flex's like an 85 and a 90 becuase some one wanted it stiffer. but don't take my word on it they might just all be the same.
i emailed the guy and he said the addict pros have air carbon fiber in the tips and tails making them have more pop without stiffening them, although the graphics shown on the site don't fully represent the skis because it is the right ski twice for both of them or something
No. Its a new marker freeride binding of which I have forgot the name. It has some special feature for riding switch better or something but I am too lazy to look it up. Long story short, its not an AT binding. (Although the marker Duke is an AT binding and the toepiece looks similar)
no, they had the product meeting here about 2 months ago, and my 2 inside sources said the 08-09 prototype was like the material of an ugg boot somewhat. and thats what it kinda looked like to me? and they are making a womens version of the spk.
The duke is the AT version. And the will also sell a set that will mount flat. It is very similar to the reactor. I believe the real reason that K2 bought Line was for the bindings, not the skis.
Ok....Look to everybody saying that the Duke is a touring binding. IT IS NOT A TOURING BINDING. It is a lighter, stronger version of the line Reactor binding. This could be the new standard for which all bindings will be based off of boys and girls.
Matman, explain to me how that binding can be taken off a pair of skis and remounted on another without drilling holes. And explain to me why no Volkls or K2s have pre-drilled holes in them? Also, explain to my why underneath the toepiece of that binding you see another metal piece with a pivot on the front? Clue in, It's an AT Binding!
Notice that the toepiece on the Volkl Wall is white and not black? Its not the same binding, as much as the toepiece looks similar. As I said before, Marker has two new bindings for next year; the Duke, which is an AT binding, and that white one (forgot the name) which is a park/freeride binding.
