07/08 Line Skis

so your saying this years chronic isnt gonna be a huge difference from next years because they are being built in the same place? an do you think the sidewall on the 07/08 will be much of a difference? does anyone know
 
A few days ago i was at the ISPO in München and there I met Jason Levinthal from Line and he told me that in PUSH Pollard rides with the EP PRo with sir francis bacon graphics !!!

I´m going to take the EP I think thsi is such a funny ski!!!

ok so a few weeks ago my 06/07 elizabeths broke because the retards monted the heel bindng a lil off center... so 'm going to be getting an advanced shipment of the new 07/08 elizabeths... great success. i do have to say however the 06/07's are so much sexier
 
yeah man those anthems are SOO fuckin dope, ive been waiting for a ghrphic like that for a long time, not too mention there totally symetrical, my skis for next year without a boubt.

even if it is the same as last year, i dont know that either.

i know there like around 90 underfoot which is like an orgasm in my pants for a park ski.

haha too many kids think they know everything there is to know about skiing and they think EVERYBODY needs to know that.
 
^ the top sheet felt and looked like maybe it had more of a nylon-ish consistancy. But even if it had changed... top sheet is still gonna get chipped/sliced up. Same with any ski.
 
Dimensions are same as last year: 93mm waist.

I can't agree with you about the graphics though, they look like a t-shirt from a truckstop.
 
haven't you seen those airbrushed t-shirts? They usually have one image transposed over another on a black background. Like, a wolf head over a moon, or an owl over a pine tree, or a dragon over a cave. These can be found at truck stops or on the backs of fat Dungeons-and-Dragons-playing Walmart shoppers all over the midwest.
 
dude stfu and learn some culture...some ppl actually like this style of graffic...i personally love it...though i'd much rather have the EP's and invaders next year...shit would be epic as helllllll
 
I was thinking a sweater you'd get from your grandma. But your's is more like what I was thinking. I'll probably buy them even though the graphics are rediculous(not in a good way) they seem soo aewsome
 
When did I ever say that no one liked it? In fact I said that the fanny pack wearing Walmart shoppers of the late 80's popularized T-shirts with similar graphics.

 
so how are those fat skis such as the elizebeths? i like the sound of them but im only 5' 6' 130lbs and i live at bachelor so theres not too much pow, but im going to alta soon so id want to have them there. would they be good to have for a park ski too?
 
The Elizabeth is Pollards park ski, so yes. Probably good for you because they are not too long (172).
 
you'll have to find someone who owns a pair, but the collective wisdom from NS seems to be this: easy to handle anywhere, good in the park, good in powder, very soft and the mount is very close to center so they are great for freestyle activities but it makes them chatter at high speeds on groomers.
 
stiffer than the anthem, according to the Line website. Also, the extra width will give it more torsional rigidity.
 
yes by a little bit...but they're softer than the chronics...like said above...the extra width of the anthem gives it a bit more torsional rigidity which in turn makes the ski stiffer as a whole...still pretty soft though
 
^the added carbon ollie band makes them slightly stiffer than this years anthem/invader.. at least by hand flex from what I can tell.. and yes they are slightly stiffer than invaders.. but not too noticeably.
 
Im a little dissapointed in the Anthems graphics. But they are definately better than last years. I am definately going to get a pair.
 
so i got my new 08 Elizabeths and rode them over the weekend at sugarbush. i want to get pics up for you guys but the image it too large does anyone know how to make images smaller as in take up less KB?
