there's a big diff. when you have to drive 30mins to the hill everyday....I hated that. Now the hill is 2 minutes driving 10 mins walking...much better and I get a lot more days. AND I hit every powder day.

I wear mittens when it's really cold....like 17 and below. But other than that I'm a glove man...these days you can find some pretty warm gloves.

Powder King in B.C. is another..........you won't find a soul there :) It's only about a 10 hour drive from the nearest major aiport.

seriously check www.sierratradingpost.com. They have a bunch of granite gear gloves, mountain hardeware, North Face, just to name a few all on sale for fairly inexpensive. Cloudveil gloves are the best I've ever worn by far but Granite Gear closely follows.

I would imagine you would notice more of a difference with centermounted skis all mountain rather than in the park. My personal opinion is I think it's retarded to center mount. The ski is designed with a certain mountain position to the freakin millimeter.......why mess up the cut of the ski...
