be careful not to get one like mine (pentax optio 330rs) The time from pushing the button till the photo is taken is wayyy tooo long for getting photos of skiers jumping. I resort to little movies, the sequences are a bit slow too - at least 1/2 a seccond between shots if you set the quality...

It may also be cos you trying to stand up too straight while you ski, always keep your shins lightly touching the front of your boots.

If you have ever skiied with good snowboarders (pros) then you will know that they can be fast. I had to skate whenever it was flatish just to keep up - they might tune their gear more than me. but usually have to tow snowboarding buddies just so that you can get more skiing time and spend less...

Also do you rate Rossie and Look plate bindings - thats all Iv used for years or are the other ones pretty good too - any comments -

If i usually have my bindings set at din 9 should i consider getting bindings that only go to 10 or is I spending the extra money on ones that go up to 12 or 14 a better idea?

their is a bc slopstyle in NZ every year, it used to be called the Ripcurl helli challange but its called something different now

But, its a bit easier to have a big air event in a city, town etc so a big crowd can get there easier gaing more exposier for skiers, more ticket sales, more money for the skiers. Im not saying its better than slopestyle but there is def a place for it

there is def a place for both, the harder tricks in the big air all end up in the slopestyle later but its good to get a preview of what can be done.

to get better balance try this. -try skiing on an easy slope on only one ski useing the sole of your foot to steer. - try it with your boots undone -try it with your boots undone and with no poles. go on its fun and you get to look like a dick but its good for your skiing.
