    Center mounting..

You can remount any pair of skis at least twice, and as long as they aren't very close together you won't weaken the ski. Some skis perform better center mounted than others. Fujatives for example, are designed to be ridden only a little ways back from center in the first place, the are almost...

    Ski recomendation

As irrelevant as it is, those are two totally different skis. The Silencer is supposed to be a min PE, it's actually not supposed to be a noodle for its size. Fujatives are noodles, and you can find them cheap.

Do you still get a warning shot?

Whats harder....true backcountry skiing or park skiing.

There's a shitload of arguments that can be made here. Personally, I'm sure big mtn is harder because even I can sorta ski park. -A given trick may well be easier in the park then off a cliff or a bc booter. Also take into account that a park rat from MN wouldn't even make it to the...

    Ideas for park

The most versatile, trickable features are: -Flat down -Flat -Down -Urban style down -Trap -A-frame -DFD -FDF -Dragontail aka Wailtail Rainbows, though fun, aren't very trickable. I do not think they should be a priority in a park, especially one thats just getting going. A saddle box...

    A51 Right Now

Does breck still have their second biggest park on another fucking mountain like they did last year? That's a huge reason I don't like breck, in A51 if I want to try something new I can just take a different turn off the lift, and meet whoever back at the same park life. That lift, and the...

    Landing switch on teles

When it comes to jumps i have to believe if you can throw it on teles you can throw it on alpine gear with a bit of practice. If you are into this stuff, you should pick up some alpine gear because it will make you able to do a lot more.

    A51 Right Now

That made me chuckle. I've been out there before, and about a third of what keystone does for rails would be twice as sick as anything around here. Besides its keystone, theres the whole mountain to ski.

    Ski recomendation

Walls are heavy and stiff, not even close imo. Anthems are wide, still ok for weight but they are not the lightest. There's always invaders and fujatives for your typical park noodles. I might also take a guess that the thrusters are mad light and probably pretty soft since they are salomon. I...

    Cheapest SPK boots

    To many noobs

Nobody anywhere around here calls the drop in any way at all, we just sort of assert ourselves and next in line, and then go. Seems like a bit of an unspoken rule. To my surprise I got out to CO last year and some people actually do call the drop. Personally I like it because theres non of this...

    Sharpness

I just straight up don't like sharp edges underfoot, beveled or not. Mine are so worn they are no longer even close to flat on the bottom they curve up toward the topsheet like they've been beveled, but its just rails. I can keep em a bit sharper out front if I want. Thing is, what kind of...

    Welding edges

So I got a couple (5) edge cracks underfoot. I don't need the ski's to be skiiable on the mountain for much longer. I was thinking that in the interest of keeping the edges, I might fix the edge cracks by welding them. I envision a wire feed welder, just a quick dot at a really low setting on...

    My rockered park skis

Basically to rocker skis using stairs you have to have open steps, stick the skis down, tie ropes to the end not stuck in the stairs, tie em up, and heat em. It was in a big thread a while back, so no you guys aren't noobs you just didn't get the memo.

I'm headed out to key in a week or so. All I can find thats current are the jumps which look sick, so what do they have up for rails right now? Also, what's an average day like temperature wise for you guys?

Full tilt boots, what foot shape are they ment for?

And not to sound like a dick, because that does, but don't do this to yourself. Take it from somebody who has. You can't buy boots this way. You will think you're happy with just buying boots online, until you get fitted and find out otherwise. Just go into a place with a good bootfitter. They...

    Binding room

So I'm looking at a pair of bindings that will need to get adjusted for new boots. So let's say there's an inch of travel left on the heel piece in the direction I want to go. How many boot sizes is that?

Only the 21345th thread of it's kind..... (but please help me anyways)

Now that I look a bit, me too. I've also heard about the great stuff you can get with the 150$ that you would save by getting most other skis. That is a consideration. I am not willing to spend much over the 500$ mark. I'll go over, but I want something I think I'll have for a while.
