my skis are currently very dull because of rails ive caught bad edges before because of a sharp edge so how sharp or dull should the edge of my skis accually be?

rails = dull skis, who cares?
unless youre skiing on boilerplate ice, edges dont really do that much.

u can have sharp edges just get them bevoled so that u wont catch slidin rails but can still grip on ice when u lean into it

I just straight up don't like sharp edges underfoot, beveled or not. Mine are so worn they are no longer even close to flat on the bottom they curve up toward the topsheet like they've been beveled, but its just rails. I can keep em a bit sharper out front if I want.
Thing is, what kind of skis. My fujatives aren't stiff enough to hold an edge on ice anyways, even when sharp underfoot. As a result I just don't care. Now if you have the MOJO 80 or somethin its a whole different ballgame.
