    Frat vs. GDI

UVM was too close to home (at the time I lived in Essex Jct.), I wasn't a fan of the excessive liberal activism, and it was too big. I left the fraternity because it wasn't a fit; I didn't see the necessity in being subjected to more rules and obligations. I also don't drink, though it wasn't a...

"i can't read" meaning "I'm far too childish to want to expand my mind by reading something without pictures" here, this should suffice, bud: http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/game/7

    How do you study?

i take off my pants, turn on some bluegrass, and stare blankly at my notes. My GPA proves that this is a good way to study.

    Frat vs. GDI

yup, a silly term indeed. Such pompous, superior attitudes are one of the reasons I don't regret leaving my fraternity.

or they don't drink, or they don't feel any necessity to pledge themselves to an organization, or they're happy with college as it is. Don't be so quick to judge non-greeks, just as some judge greeks.

    Frat vs. GDI

    Frat vs. GDI

dues are for social events, beer, nationals fees, and insurance for the house/fraternity. I paid 400 for dues per semester and even with that, the housing fee, and all food (chef's salary included) it was cheaper than living on campus with a meal plan and parking.

    Frat vs. GDI

I was in a fraternity at UVM and am now at a college in Maine where there are no frats at all. Borders gift cards are the bain of my existence

There's a store a few towns over. I have a bum knee so I can't drive there right now so I was hoping to use the wonders of the internet, but apparently, Borders/Amazon hates me.
