    There's a Corked 3 how-to article by Mike D. in Ski Press: http://www.skipressworld.com/ca/en/magazine/2003/vol18no3/Winter2004vol18no0319.htm

    Please offer reasonable site suggestions

Under Quick Links, have the Donator's Forum link appear all the time. i.e. It disappears when you're looking at individual messages, but is present when viewing indices and posting a reply. Problem is in ReadTopic.php4. ListTopic.php4 and PostReplya.php4 are ok.

    Rahlves INTELLIGENT Response to Tanner

I just watched Daron's promo video (21 Meg). Says a lot about what he can and cannot do. Good action starts about 1/4 the way in.

Do you think ski halfpipe should be in the Olympics? No,...

^ Cannabinoids like marijuana and hashish are only banned 'in competition' - 2005 WADA Prohibited Substances list.

It may be a new grab to Tanner and some of you, but Julien R-L did this 4-5 years ago in The Game.

ski halfpipe should NOT be in the olympics

^^^^ What is snowboarding today? The same athletes that were killing it in the Winter games were the leading contenders at X as well. Athletes that are driven to compete at the Olympic level of competition are probably not well-understood or represented here on NS.com. I hope to see skiing...

    Yearbook

Abma's and Backstrom's were the two standout segments for me in Yearbook. Mike D. said, in the summer, that this was probably his final segment for MSP. Abma's talents were wasted in the Warren Miller film. They showed him doing some switch powder skiing. Not much more.

    candide pro model

^ If they were, why would they just jump in to the market? They believe they offer a better product that is more suited to the direction the sport is going. Durability seem to be the key motivator. Perfectly understandable given how technical and enormous rails and jumps have become.

    candide pro model

To b19119 - I get your point. I've always regarded the CR and Candide to be Salomon's response to the boutique manufacturer's offerings in terms of performance and price. Time will tell. Skogenjake - don't take it personally. I think the NS market is consistent, it's just not GROWING at any...

    candide pro model

To answer your original question, the Candide and CR come from the LAB group. These folks are the skunkworks for Salomon who produce limited high-end products to their athlete's specifications. Candide and CR's ski have slightly modified dimensions, less tip and tail, denser PU foam, and race...

^ But would you take a 2-year high dollar fixed contract that required you to compete in x number of events, photos, and film segments per year giving exposure to your employer's product (failure to which, would result in breach and possible termination)? OR A longer term modest-dollar...

    Rossi B3s

The construction of the ski is a little different between the 185 and the 195 B3. There's an extra layer of metal on the 195 making it stiffer and more like the old XXX. I would suggest trying both, simply because they do feel and respond differently. Cheers.
