Yeah, Lange fits my feet pretty good. I've been in old banshee's for a good amount of time and I need to step it to a stiffer boot. I think I'm going to go ahead on the comp 120's because I can get them new from Lange for 199. If I could get other boots that cheap I'd do a bit more looking...

^^ True story. Get a bekon, probe, shovel and a radio (make sure you know how to use all the equiptment properly). Let the park people know where you are planning on going, and getting back and most important go with someone experienced your first 5-10 times. And NEVER go alone. ~n~

Thanks alot guys. I wont be spending tons of time in the park this year, probably like 20% because I'm on ski patrol this year.. Plus I like stiffer boots anyways, thats why i never bought 1080 boots. Thanks alot! Any more opinions are welcomed. ~n~

Dont spray paint them!! The chemicals in the paint will screw up your fabric. You'll probably lose a good amount of waterproffing and they wont last long because it will weakin them. That and the paint will chip off and look like ass as soon as you put them on. Just go buy some Rit fabric...

What you are looking for are skins. They are a 'skin' that goes on the base of your ski and allows them to have traction for going up hill but still allow you to glide down hill (you can slide them forward but not backwards) They are pretty common with backcountry guys. ~n~

I'm in the market for new boots and I was looking for some opinions on the Lange comp 120 freerides. I can get them really cheap so I'm thinking about it. And yes, I do plan on trying them before I order them, but just wanted some reviews.. all day comfort? do they last? how are the buckles...

What level of skier are you? What type of skiing do you do? What are the din settings on your bindings? (4-12 ect.) Do you have bad knees? Do you fall often? ~n~

Take them to your local shop, they should do them for you.. mine did a few sets for free. Usually they wont charge you but if they do it should only be like 5 or 10 bucks.. unless they are dicks and want to charge an hour labor. I'd call your shops first to check. ~n~

I didnt get a chance to ride them yet but a kid i know did last season (a demo set from atomic at his shop) and he liked them. The replace the tweaks, pretty much the same as them but a bit stiffer and different carbon channel design. I have tweaks and love them so I'm sure the deviants are...

As it stands Marq. is the best. I guess Boyne is going to step it up big time this year but I'm sure they'll fuck it up somehow (hopefully not though) ~n~
