Congrats, way to turn the sport we love into a load of commercialised, trivial bullshit. What a load of ass! Why not just do what you like doing instead of trying to identify every single aspect of the culture and decide what's cool and what's not. Who's down with the 411, who's hip with the funky jazz. Doubt you'd EVER hear guys like Morrison, Olsson, Stian, Candide, Harrison, Nobis, Pfifer or Krietler talking this kind of rubbish, and those guys are the REAL skiers.

'new school' is dead, it's become what snowboarding was 3 or 4 years ago, personally I can't wait till the hype dies down and it becomes a personal passion again rather than 'the new rock n roll'.

The interview was really good! I only wnated to add that I dont think freeski schools are too bad because it offers some kids a chance to ski more. Seriously, if Boyd didnt go to CVA then do you think he would be the skier he is if he could only ski in Michigan? The only problem is when you go to the school and let coaches tell you the right and wrong way to do things. Freeski schools should be based around personal progression and kids doing there own thing. thats all.

Phattim...I agree and disagree with you. I don't even want to get into it or start to argue or whatever but you said Jon would never talk like that...I hear he does. I've read interviews and stuff from himself and other people saying he complains about all sorts of little aspects of skiing all the time...but that's just hearsay anyways...
