I'm so stoked those guys love skiing - it just shows what a fucking awesome sport we have. it also shows what ridiculous athletes they are, and how much i suck. sw 7s??? 9s??? Holy shit, nice work guys, I have respect for both you and the sport of blading. keep it up, and enjoy it!

Haha, you don't even know hemlock. Why can't they be compared? Just because they're using different equipment and different skills doesn't mean they can't be compared. Here's one more section to check out.


Just because you can find similarities between the two sports doesn't make either one better. It's not saying one is progressing or influencing the other, or that one should act like the other. It's just calling out that there are obvious similarities between the two, and because of that it's possible to work off of those and create something new in your respective sport. Again, it's not a 'bad' or a 'good' thing, it just is.

I'm happy that 'extreme' sports are beginning to get past the hype and "your sport is gay" bs. It's sooo much better when we're all having fun. Later, I'm gonna go skate!
